Laurel was an absolute joy to work with. From discussing our needs to confirming ahead of time, to doing the 3 hour photo shoot itself to delivering the photos - everything was friendly and professional. We were a family group of 27 - 14 kids and 13 adults gathering for a week together. She was engaging and patient. She asked questions to distract kids. She even brought smarties! We engaged Laurel as the photographer for our engagement and our wedding day. We cannot express how much we LOVE the results from both events. Our engagement photos were taken at the CNE. This created many logistical challenges given the crowds. Laurel, the consummate professional, tackled these challenges head on and the results speak for themselves. She took amazing, vibrant and fun photos that captured why we both love the CNE. We used these photos as our save the dates and have featured them in our wedding and our home. While we are happy to accept the compliments from our family and friends regarding our engagement photos, the true credit lies with Laurel and we are delighted to take the opportunity here to give it. The photos she has taken from our wedding day are nothing short of spectacular. She was fun, easy going and warm which put everyone at ease on a very hectic day. We had a few children in our wedding party. Laurel brought stickers to coax bigger smiles out of them and ensure that the pictures were the greatest they could be in the fewest takes possible! The photos turned out even better than we could have imagined (and she had already set the bar very high from our engagement shoot). Every time we see one of her beautiful photographs, we are reminded of our special day and a big smile is brought to our faces.
