We had our kitchen cabinet doors replaced and frame re painted back in 2022, we were pleased with the whole process and outcome loving the look of the new kitchen and the quality of the doors. Due to a water issue we needed several doors replaced in 2024 and the process was just as smooth coming in, color matching and offering the most cost effective option for replacement. Right from the initial call and home visit, to the final unveiling, the entire process was very professional and communication was excellent. Everything was explained well and the prep was fantastic prior to the actual priming and painting. Crew was always on time, friendly and considerate. After getting a recommendation from friends we contacted Kitchen Makeovers for an estimate and to do the work. We are very happy with the result; our kitchen looks like new. Besides the quality of the work, we were very happy with the advice provided at the first visit provided by the estimator and the competent professionalism, friendliness and courtesy of the people form Kitchen Makeovers who did the work to remove the cabinet doors and drawers, prepare the cabinets for painting, do the spraying, and then put everything back together again. Love Kitchen Makeovers! Tanya was so helpful with what I wanted to do (white uppers & green lowers and adding handles). When her employee came in to prep and paint, I never even knew she was there. When the day came for install, I wasn't home but it was like the fairy cabinet painters came in and transformed my kitchen. Price was exactly what I was quoted, so no surprises. Tanya laid out the time frame and it was exact when it came time for the transformation. I would highly recommend Kitchen Makeovers and I am kicking myself for not having them take a look at my bathroom cabinets while they were here. We contracted Kitchen Makeovers to paint our IKEA cabinet doors after they yellowed. Their representative came to the house and did an excellent job of explaining the process. We got a firm quote and a time-line for getting the doors to them and how long it would take. We opted to remove the doors ourselves and transport them to their facility. They provided me with a quart of the matching paint so that I can do the finish on cabinet ends myself. The pieces were ready for pickup on time and the finish is beautiful. Unfortunately, a bad experience. We were taken in by the reviews. So, the short and sweet of it is, beware and do lots of homework. The bad omen initially was when our new cabinet faces (after being installed the employees noticed the paint defects ) needed to be repainted and installed a second time after a factory mess up. Then the new drawer faces were not attached properly, but instead of rectifying the situation, they used the excuse of calling it the “industry standard”. Then to top things off, we were treated very rudely and unprofessionally by the owner over the phone. We actually had the threat of them removing the drawer fronts and not bringing them back! We truly wish that we could have provided a better review. The condo that we are renovating has had otherwise very professional and excellent contractors.
