I completed a kitchen renovation within the past year and used KDP + for both the design and the installation of the kitchen. KDP owner Louise O’Haran was a pleasure to work with. We were dealing with a grim galley kitchen and she helped me create a space that I really never thought possible in our home. Light and pretty with ample and creative storage for all of our dinnerware, appliances etc. She was always easy to contact and assisted my husband and I in finding a reliable contractor. Louise and her team at KDP are fantastic. It was like my idea of the perfect kitchen jumped right out of my head and into hers! Her design totally fits the needs and wants of my family and she came up with some ideas I would never have thought of - but they will help the kitchen remain functional as time passes and we age. Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our reno (our fault - not KDP) but I am 100% confident that when it starts, the process will go smoothly and the results will be amazing! KDP was a pleasure to deal with. They provided great design ideas to us for our kitchen, and helped us pick out the right products and finishes. Louise came out to our place to make sure the drawings were accurate, and then again after installation to make sure we were happy with the final result. A couple of fixes were needed and she was all over it! They were fixed in a timely way and we were very happy with the result. We were so happy we asked KDP to help us with our master bathroom too! Louise O'Haran and Kitchen Design Plus became a supporter of Adsum for Women & Children in May 2014 when Louise brought her business associates and friends together to give to our cause for her birthday celebration.
She has been supporting Adsum ever since through sponsorships of our events and taking a portion of each kitchen project to donate to us. These funds support the day to day needs of women and families who are experiencing homelessness and are living in our emergency shelter, .
We nominated Louise for Small Business Philanthropist at the Maritime Fundraising Dinner and she took home the award for all of her exceptional work giving back to the community.
