I started working with Katie in March 2023 when I was 7 months postpartum. I am a triathlete and did maintain decent fitness over my pregnancy, but obviously pregnancy and labour had an impact! Katie is amazing! She has helped me not only get back to my pre-pregancy fitness but I am not a stronger cyclist and runner because of the training we do. I really enjoy how her approach is not only about the strengthening but about the entire body health so stretching and breathing are important too. I started seeing Katie this year to help with a prenatal program, and she has been incredible since the beginning. I’ve been working out with Katie for about 5 months or so now and it’s been a great experience. Katie is kind and encouraging but also challenges me to push myself. I’ve gotten a lot stronger and can see (and feel) the difference in my body. Katie is also very knowledgeable about physiology and was able to provide me with some exercises to help me strengthen and stretch areas that are causing me trouble. Not gonna lie, I had a slight panic attack when Katie told me she was moving ACROSS THE COUNTRY. Katie is so patient and kind and someone in your court to bring you to the goals that you set. I didn't have a big goal other than consistency and routine. Now that I am working with Katie on a different level (she writes my monthly training plan), I feel confident going into a gym, cheering myself on, knowing proper technique and form, and most importantly, knowing how to correctly breath. I never had an experience working out with personal trainers before, because I was always scared of the interactions every week being a little awkward, but since I started working out with Gigi (And Katie) i’ve never felt more happy and motivated in my workouts. Gigi is super funny, easy to be around, professional (and very pushy when needed, too hahaha). Gigi has been wonderful to work out with. She has a great way of keeping me focused throughout the session and always provides helpful advice, she encourages me doing things I have not done in years and she modifies the exercises to make it functional and doable as I have lower back injury. I've been training with Katie for about 2 years now and haven't really looked back. She takes great care in creating sets of exercises that are customized to your needs. She is always aware of your physical capabilities and knows when to push you, whether it's increasing weight, reps, sets, or trying more advanced exercises. I appreciate her constant adjustments and reminders to keep correct form above all else. It's because of Katie that I feel confident lifting heavy consistently without worrying about injuring myself. I absolutely love working out with Katie! I have been attending her classes and small group training sessions for over 1. 5 years. From the very first time I met her, I found Katie’s warm personality so welcoming — she truly cares about her clients. I instantly felt comfortable with Katie as soon as I met her. Working with Katie has been very rewarding. I’ve been training with her for the last 3 years now and not one work-out has repeated. Katie tailors each session to match my goals and motivates me to push my limits. She is constantly evolving and learning and passing those lessons on to her clients.
