My husband and I were excited to buy our original 1970's charmer, but in order for us to bring it into 2020, we knew we would need help. Jaime and his team were very professional and personable when we met them. They were organized, attentive with details and listened to all our wants and concerns. We hired them with confidence knowing that they would be the right designers to bring our vision to life. Although our project isn't quite finished, Jaime and his team have followed through. They have nailed the floor plan configurations, overall design, and have given us a game plan to reference every step of the way. After consultation, our design was completely personalized, the JBD team found materials, and finishes that reflected our tastes as well as lifestyle; making the house, our home.
The design package was perfectly executed for construction renovation readiness to ensure our dream could be executed regardless of who we selected to manage the construction project.
Our home was remodeled, improved and is now a dream! The inside layout and design finally matches our million dollar view!

We worked with Jamie and his intermediate designer Sascha Eagleton to entirely redesign our 1100sf townhouse in Vancouver.
They were a pleasure to work with, and had wonderful solutions to maximize space usage, including almost doubling our kitchen footprint.
We enjoyed their intake process and appreciated how they listened to and implemented our style ideas for a modern-Nordic feel, responded promptly to our emails, communicated their ideas clearly, and were patient with our indecisiveness for certain decisions.
They also coordinated the application for building permits, which ultimately helped reduce delays in our project. In sourcing materials, they identified which finishes required a longer lead time to order, which was helpful for our contractor who was able to submit those orders right at the start of the project.
When having contractors quote on the job, we consistently received feedback that Jamie’s construction drawings were some of the best and most detailed plans the contractors had seen. This made the quoting process fast and accurate.
I highly recommend Jamie, Sascha, and their friendly support team, Paige and Stephanie.
