Alona was amazing to work with! We had a large family reunion photoshoot and she made everyone feel comfortable, and made it a really fun shoot for the little kids and the old folk alike! She was flexible and took the time to take many different shots. The kids got so into it she even did single shots so they could be models for the day. And to top it all off the pictures turned out beautifully. More...

Working with Alona was an overall great experience. As someone who has very little experience with being a model and not that much confidence with posing, Alona really helped me to feel at ease and have fun! She made it easy and made it personal, almost like I was hanging out with a close friend. I did two shoots with her, both were for class projects, but one was by myself and the other was with a couple of friends. The solo shoot was the first time I've ever had a professional shoot, there was lighting and Alona had some fancy cameras. Everything was very well done and Alona helped me all the way through, directing me to tilt my head or move my arm, etc. After some editing and camera magic, I saw the results and I loved them! It was such a good experience and helped me feel more confident with myself. I'm very grateful that Alona asked me to help her out! I'd highly recommend Alona to other people for photos that are unique, modern, colourful and have a distinct personality to them! More...

Alona is such a kind and talented photographer. She is incredibly helpful and encouraging and has amazing energy. Some of my best modelling experiences have been with her!
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Letting loose. Don't overthink a shot, and don't let the client overthink a pose! Be free and don't be scared to make mistakes in front of the camera!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I ask many questions when working on a new project such as the basics:
- where do you want to shoot
- what do you want to shoot
- what is your budget
The fun questions include:
- what is your vision
- what is your goal
- do you have any reference pictures?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and showing them a beautiful side of themselves they not have believed in before.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I fell in love with photography a the age of 16. Got my first camera then, and couldn't put it down. I wanted to provide the experience of friendship and professionalism all in one, while also providing amazing results , and at a decent price!
Why should our clients choose you?
I try to keep things fun. I never judge anyone for how they present themselves, and if you're scared, I will put on music and dance in the middle of the room with you to get you ready and loosen those nervous! I will be not only your photographer but also your hype woman if you need me to! I approach my work with a modern style and a modern personality.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I do not! I'm so sorry, but all my work happens on location wherever the client likes, so long as it's within a compatible distance.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I ask if they are vaccinated, if they feel comfortable with or without a mask, as well as keep an open line of communication with them in terms of health concerns (feeling under the whether etc). Everyone has their own comfort when it comes to the pandemic, and I try to be as respectful for the client's wishes, as I hope they remain respectful to mine when necessary.
Wedding Photography
I worked in the wedding photography industry for a year. Not a crazy long time, but I learned a lot! Offering at cheaper than most companies' prices, I offer full service. I focus on what the bride and groom want first and foremost on their special day! I focus on serious images, fun images as well as candid and creative shots - images you don't usually see in wedding work!
In weddings, I take solo images of the bride and groom, couple photos, bridal party, family photos, speeches, slow dances, ceremony and reception! Whatever fits your bill!
Headshots and Family Photos
If you want a simple headshot for work or a resume, I'm your gal! If you'd like some family photos with your partner, kids or whomever, I'm the girl to see. I make sure everyone is having fun regardless, and I of course, always incorporate the client's ideas to the best of my ability!
Creative Portraits
This category of service is one the more pricey side. Consider these to be the type of photos you see on magazine covers with crazy props and makeup! If you want something done differently and majestically, let me know and we can see what we come up with! If you have a vision, share it! Take a look at my "studio work" on my website portfolio. Specifically, the bathtub and chalk portraits should give you the right idea of what "Creative Portraits" mean.
Event Photography
Any event you can think of, I can do. Weather it be big or small. A birthday, retirement, bridal/baby shower, graduation, name it and we will work together to try and make it work out!
