Great gem downtown Vancouver! The cutest little place with character. Ukrainian combo was amazing, it included borscht/potato pierogi/stuffed peppers and those were exactly how I remember the non-vegan counterparts taste like. Had no idea this place existed until I stumbled across it and debated whether to go inside. I am so excited to say that I did and it was DELICIOUS. I have been craving dessert, any kind of dessert for ages at a restaurant but could never have it because it contained dairy. I tried the coconut dream and it was like a dream! I had the avocado open sandwich and it was so good and tasty. I think I just found my new favourite restaurant in Vancouver and that is saying a lot! I will be back soon! More...

Food for the soul � I tried this place out for the first time a couple of days ago thinking I'd just try one thing off the menu and leave. I ended up staying for almost two hours - tried a starter, entree, and a dessert. I was so impressed with the food here, and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. I only wish I had brought a book along. My husband found this place online while we were in Vancouver. After trying a beautiful vegan place in Montreal, we were excited to try a new place with such high reviews here. It's tucked in a cozy little spot (though I think they really need to find a larger place to accommodate the following) and feels homey. We quickly learned the vibe of the place by watching other patrons. We paced our orders - beverages first, appetizer next, then dinner. Giving time to appreciate each on their own. We had a mylkshake and a juice - both had quality ingredients and superfoods (though my juice was not the one I ordered, it was still nice). A beautiful stuffed mushroom and stuffed avocado appetizer and vegan burgers for dinner. Everything lovely. We couldn't fit in dessert as we were stuffed. When finished we went to the counter to pay the bill (we saw everyone else do this, so we aren't sure if they actually bring the bill to you). Our bill came to $60+, and we left feeling happy about the clean food and healthy impact this place has on its patrons and the environment. We can't wait to try more of their menu. The food was simply amazing. I wish I could have tasted everything there. I tried the raw pesto pizza and the lime cheesecake. Both were well presented, made with fresh ingredients, and tasty as hell. I also tried the chia pudding and it is to die for! I don't give five points because the service was slow-paced and not very enthusiastic, although polite. I did not wait too long to get my food, but I would have preferred a bit more energy there. Also, as a European, I was surprised to get my drink together with my meal, and not before. So don't be alarmed if you have to wait for it. Overall I recommend all the raw-foodists, gluten-free and vegan people to go there, as well as the rest of the world. You won't be disappointed! More...
