It depends on the genre of photography, but my first line of inquiry is usually, what are the photographs being used for? And then I ask my clients if they have a design brief or a mood board, and if they’re unfamiliar with those industry terms, I simply ask them, what do you want your photographs to say? What’s the story we’re telling? Do you have particular photos that you’re in love with? We live in an age where we’re surrounded with hundreds of images on a daily basis. I enjoy finding out what my clients like in the way of imagery.

The greatest thing about my job is having the opportunity to make people feel good about themselves. A great portrait or head shot does wonders for people’s self confidence. And a portrait or head shot that shows someone in their best light is helping them get their foot in the door in their professional lives and on social media. Helping people be the best version of themselves is incredibly rewarding.

Photography has enabled me to travel the world and meet thousands of interesting and fascinating people. It’s wonderfully fulfilling to have a positive impact in people’s lives.
