Welcome to Grit Interiors. My name is Amanda Vernon.
I help busy people, using an easy, convenient and collaborative eDesign process, to create beautifully decorated homes, completely online.
I also help interior design industry experts with Virtual Interior Design Assistant Services, allowing them to focus on what excites them most about their interior design businesses.

I've had a passion for interior design for as long as I can remember. My collection of interior design books and subscriptions to industry magazines started when I was very young...and keeps growing.
A formal education from the Interior Design Institute followed, where I received a Diploma of Interior Design. Most recently I've become a Certified eDesigner and a Certified Design Virtual Assistant through the eDesign U.
This collection of learning and experience provides me with the right skills to help you with your home or interior design business.
I'm thrilled that online interior design allows me to provide eDesign Services and Virtual Interior Design Assistant Services to you, wherever you may be, anywhere throughout Canada and the USA.

A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME
1. I LOVE dogs! We're currently sharing our home with our three rescue dogs; Stella, Ruby, and Jack.
2. I'm an avid gardener and enjoy styling a garden as much as a home.
3. Travelling is my favourite pastime. There's nothing I love more than to explore somewhere new. I always bring back a memory for our home and a great photo for our gallery walls.
Although I live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, I'm thrilled that eDesign services and Virtual Interior Design Assistant services allow me to provide online interior design services to you anywhere throughout Canada and the USA, wherever you might be.

eDesign Room Refresh
This eDesign Service is right for you if you want to give your space an update but already have your main furniture pieces. eDesign Refresh is also perfect to create a focal point (fireplace mantle/console table).

1 initial concept board (visual display of product selections).
Add an eDesign Extras Service to receive 1 additional concept board and as many as 3 additional product revisions (eDesign Extra Service is priced per single room).
1 complimentary round of revisions, if required, to a maximum of 3 products. Additional revisions are subject to fee of $125/hr.
1 final concept board including all products.
1 Clickable Shopping List including all products with direct links to purchase products.
Written instructions & styling notes for how to set up your design.
Sourcing of up to 8 total items per design limited to lighting, accessories, art, accent furniture and ready-made drapery and soft furnishings.
Direct messaging with your designer.

A photorealistic rendering will provide you with a visualization tool and assist you in making product selections on your own or provide you with a clear understanding of how selections in your eDesign Service will look in your room when the space is complete.
