Jessica at Genesis did a great job with all aspects of our kitchen remodel, from sourcing products to making sure jobs were done on time and properly. When we discovered a slight problem with a pull-out bin she kept trying to find a solution until it was solved, and she always kept us in the loop. We contracted with Genesis to build a new bathroom vanity, frame the bathroom mirror, remove an old 'sunshine' ceiling light in the kitchen and replace with a coffered ceiling to match the design of the custom, built-in hutch they did for us. We hired Genesis to help us with a complete kitchen renovation in our ‘90’s condo. They really listened and respected my ideas but then took the project to the next level. We are very happy with how it turned out! It’s functional and beautiful and has become a room that we actually want to hang out it. My goodness, this is a beautiful kitchen ... now.

From stock builder-grade condo space-wasting cabinets, Jessica the Amazing tossed out ideas and options until we had exactly what we were looking for: about 50% more cupboard space, clean and modern lines, with just enough design detail to be unique without being extreme.

With the exception of a couple of little finishes (we're painting the whole unit in the new year, so we didn't do the repainting at all, and the dishwasher came damaged) it was complete in just over 2 weeks, from demolition to electrical and plumbing finished.

Working with Genesis Cabinets was a wonderful experience! Working with the owner, Denise MacIntosh, made the experience even better. When we decided to renovate our kitchen area, we first went to a fairly prominent, local kitchen cabinet company. However we left feeling quite overwhelmed, as we were informed that all the measurements for a fairly extensive area, were to be left to us. They did not come out to take measurements. Upon a family recommendation, I called Denise at Genesis Kitchens. She was a pleasure to work with from the moment she stepped into our home. She provided many wonderful suggestions that we would never have thought of, and ultimately went with. Her prices were very competitive, and the installation was completed within the time frame she gave us. The cabinets were beautiful! Even today, ten years later, we love the look of our kitchen! Denise and the staff that I was in contact with during the installation are all very professional and strive to go the extra mile. Now ten years later, when I have called for other cabinets to be installed, or even to have the hardware of my main cabinets to be rechecked, I have received the same wonderful service. The prices initially quoted for a new cabinet and a walk in closet that I needed installed in the basement were a bit high for my need. As soon as I let Denise know, she was very happy to source out new products that would suit my budget and as well, be of the quality that I wanted.
I have recommended Genesis Kitchens & Design to many of my family and friends. Those who have used their services, have all been more than satisfied! More...

We can't say enough about Genesis Kitchens & Design. Our kitchen was stuck in the 90's. Our designer Jessica, listened to all of our suggestions and ideas and she designed our dream kitchen. Her knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were excellent! Barstra Construction and Home Renovation Ltd. was our contractor, who came highly recommended from Genesis. Jessica was our designer and we were overjoyed with her design for our smaller studio suite and laundry room. Our contractor was Dan and we’re so pleased we chose him through Genesis. He truly does beautiful work and took on extra work when asked. We had a couple small problems arise but between Jessica and Dan these were solved quickly. From kitchen cupboards and bedroom closets the install went great. We used Coast Appliances and got a huge discount because of Genesis. Dan kept the budget right on his quote which we truly appreciate. We highly recommend Genesis Kitchen and design along with Dan Klassen. Jessica and Dan both have an eye for detail and perfection.
