Q&As

I love educating my patients regarding self care and empowering them to create more moments of mindfulness into their lives. My mission is to help guide people to step into their flow state through connecting with their mind, body and soul.

I was inspired to start my own business so that I could have more flexibility to help my clients.

A huge part of being an RMT is self care. When I fill my cup first through my own personal practices, I'm able to better serve my clients. This is what I empower my clients to do in their lives too.

I understand how important it is to fill your emotional and physical cup up before serving others. One of the reasons I wanted to become an RMT was because I understood the assignment: the balance of fuelling myself first so that I can physically and mentally hold space and provide care to others. I knew self care was a huge part of my job. If I don’t show up for myself first, it makes my job a lot harder and I personally feel like I’m doing a disservice to my patients. I also witness the quick deterioration of my colleagues when self care is neglected and I see the same ripple effect in every other industry, relationships, etc.

Services

General swedish massage, deep tissue, cupping, myofascial release techniques.

Treatments ranging from 30-90 minutes.

Reiki is a form of energy healing in which a practitioner uses hands-on or hands-off (distant) techniques to channel life force energy.

The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words "Rei" meaning universal and "Ki" meaning life force energy.

Reiki aims to promote healing on a number of levels - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Benefits of Reiki may include easing pain, relieving tension, decreasing stress, and balancing the body's energy centres.

During a reiki session, a patient lies down clothed while the practitioner guides their hands on and/or over the patient's body. Through the techniques applied, energy is shifted and stimulates a healthy flow of energy in the body.

Subtle sensations such as tingling, warmth, light pressure and relaxation may be felt throughout your session.

The only thing you have to do during your session is lay back with an open, present mind and be ready to receive.
