What makes your experience working with me unique?
With a background in the Environmental Sciences (BSc. University of Waterloo), I am a bit of a science nerd. And, YES there IS a science to design! Consider the physics behind sound and acoustics, the body’s need for natural light to support circadian rhythm, the vibration of colour and how it affects mood, the biology of biomimicry, and how we can borrow from nature’s designs to create biophilic environments that support wellness.

What’s your interior design process?
Introduction - discovering that 'magical moment' of establishing a clear and personal connection Discovery - who are you? what makes your heart sing? why you are embarking on this project?
Project Scope - what outcomes are you hoping to achieve?
Budget Parameters - setting clear and reasonable expectations via communication with both client and construction specialists.
Visioning - detailed Needs Assessment and exploration of inspiring ideas to build upon
Exploration - identifying key Design Concepts upon which to base design decisions for your project
Design Development - an iterative and synergistic process of finalizing all aspects of your design. This may include (but is not limited to) considerations for functional layout, materials & finishes, lighting, acoustics, colour palette, fixtures, equipment & furnishings.
Contract Documents - with all of the above information provided in an interior design drawing package you will have everything a contractor requires to provide you with detailed pricing to execute your project.
*if you already have a builder or general contractor that you prefer to engage, we would work together with one another.

What inspired you to start your own business?
My father always encouraged me to follow my creative heart passionately and unapologetically.
Becoming an entrepreneur allows me the freedom to personalize the design experience for clients in extraordinarily creative ways. Building trust, providing a sense of ease, inspiring wellness, and ultimately creating joy both during the process of design and long after project completion is my passion and privilege.
