Just love Essence Salon & Spa. They have the greatest people working there and nothing is ever too much for them to handle. Right now they are going through computer issues with all appointments, names & phone numbers gone and this creates total chaos but they are still smiling and trying to find some semblance of a schedule. Yet they are smiling, accommodating and all working together. This is so nice to see in a small business .no one tries to outdo the other person. I just tried Essence for the first time yesterday since it is right down the street from my house and I was looking for a new/closer salon, it was a little hard to get in but well worth the wait! Jordan took such good care of me, and most importantly my hair! She was personable, knowledgeable and very friendly. I couldn’t stop playing with my hair for the rest of the day, couldn’t wait to style it again today and received numerous compliments that I imagine I’ll get more of because she did such a fantastic job! Chantelle saved my hair....literally. I had a completely catastrophic cut and colour by my long time stylist in Markham on Monday. I called my friend who lives in Cambridge and she suggested I come to Essence because she had such an amazing experience. I drove all the way from Mississauga the next day, devastated by the state of my hair, to see Chantelle. What she was able to do with my cut and colour was mind blowing. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, made honest suggestions, and even showed me how to do everything she was doing to my hair so I wasn't lost when I got home (it's a pretty drastic change for my hair style I might add). The entire staff was so welcoming and accommodating and it truly did feel like a team and family. I would drive 3hrs if I had to in order to have my hair done at Essence again! More...

Oh please, Essence is simply the best. Besides that fact the stylists are so incredibly talent (especially my girl Tina) they are so warm and welcoming. I mean last time? I had a seat by the fire place and they made me a cup of hot chocolate. You end up feeling like an incredibly spoiled VIP.
