I love using nature and natural light as my backdrop for my sessions. I've been a portrait and wedding photographer for 11 years. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Capturing your personality. Shooting in a place that means something to you, your family or your significant other. That might be your backyard, your hometown or a special coffee shop. I love capturing you in a place you love and feel most comfortable.
What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely LOVE meeting new people and seeing them grow and change over the years as they keep booking me to take their photos for special milestone's in their lives, or for their yearly photo shoot. I love going out for coffee with my brides and grooms and talking all about their wedding plans, and just their plans for their life together. And I love that I get to create. Everyday I get to create art with people. I love that!
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I started to have kids my husband and I lived in a remote area in Northern Ontario. There were no photographers around, so I purchased my first camera to be able to capture my kids' lives. Soon friends saw my pictures and wanted me to take their family's pictures. It soon grew into a business that I have loved having for the last decade! I am also grateful that I get to be home with my family, and get set my own hours. That's been a blessing.
Why should our clients choose you?
I love working collaboratively with my clients. Together we choose the perfect location and create something together that I know you will just love. Recently, the first bride and groom I had messaged me and said to this day (almost 10 years ago) they love looking through their wedding album. I love making my clients happy and give them something that I know they will love for many many years to come.
Mini Sessions
I offer mini sessions to my local couples and families. These are 20-30 minute shoots, in one location and you will receive 25 beautiful digital images via a web gallery that you can download, share with friends and print to display in your home. A perfect photo session with those who have young children, or a couple looking to get just a few shots together!
Photo Session
This is a session that its perfect for ALL. Its a one hour shoot, allows for a couple of different locations if desired, you will receive up to 75 beautiful digital images via web gallery for you to download, share with friends and print to display in your home. This is awesome for engagement shoots, family shoots, extended families and newborns...We have lots of fun!
Wedding Photography
I offer two packages for wedding photography. From $1200-$1500. But I also offer a la carte for those brides and grooms who are looking for something a bit more flexible. Get in touch with me, and I'll give you more info on my wedding day packages and what I can offer you!
