It was absolutely wonderful working with Dino and his crew! I initially hired him to renovate my bathrooms. I changed my mind so many times during the renovation, but Dino never had a problem accommodating my requests. How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Providing the ceiling height in your garage is a minimum of 7 feet tall, any garage can be converted into some sort of living/recreational space. As long as the structure is sound, the roof is intact, and the floor is sturdy, a conversion is possible, otherwise repairs would be required to bring it up to par.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
A conversion is nothing more than the finishing of an interior. This involves running hot and cold supply, drains, insulation, drywall or paneling, flooring, etc.
Depending on how the room was being used, appropriate finishes would be applied. For instance, if the garage were being converted into a kitchen, cabinetry would be the primary focus of the room.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the before and after aspect of my job. The flow of ideas to change something into a beautiful and functional space, and then to stand back and look at it after it's completed never fails to amaze me.
But truly, my passion is tiling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There was never any question. I know the building and renovation industry thoroughly. My family has been involved in this industry in Canada for nearly a hundred years, and before that in Italy for countless years. It's in my blood.
Why should our clients choose you?
Experience, dedication and patience is what a client will experience working with me. Most people know exactly what they want, and I never try to change their minds unless I see something isn't going to work, or fail over time. I start when I say I'm going to start, and I always finish when I'm supposed to.

In some cases, it is possible to provide online quotes, assuming the client is able to provide a clear and concise scope of work and lots of photographs and videos.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We've always followed the recommended guidelines to keep our clients safe from Covid-19. This is important to us, especially in the case of older immunocompromised clients.
