Spent birthday dinner last night thinking it would be the fine dinning and service it would be expected of bridges from my past experiences but shocked at the type of bar food they were serving for fine dinning meal prices. Nachos for $18 that could be made by 7/11. My steak that was ordered was to be well but came burnt. It’s fine and good if I went to a pub restaurant that reflected the price but these are $43 steak from a supposed fine dinning restaurant. The margarita drink was so watered down it tasted like water. Friends meals were so lack lustre that even the take home food was left at the restaurant. Waiter came at the beginning and at the end. When asked why the change of food service, the waiter responded with “ oh yah, we used to serve fine dinning menus at night but they changed it to a more pub food. Not sure when they’ll serve that again” So disappointed and embarassed to have brought friends to this restaurant I used to Enjoy going to. If I knew this was the case, I would have gladly gone somewhere else. More...

I would recommend Bridges for the great view, the food and good service. However, the bar & lounge area in the restaurant is in need of updating. Definitely avoid the tables at the back of the bar area on a cool, rainy day. The main door to the bar is constantly opening and closing with customers coming and going. This creates a very cool and uncomfortable atmosphere. At the very least, a windbreak should be installed to make the area more comfortable. Otherwise, Bridges is still one of my favorite hangouts, especially in summertime. More...
