I spoke to david within a few minutes of posting on Bark. Awesome experience as he answered all my questions and assured me I could contact him anytime I needed assistance with my business. I was prepared to sign on with Baxton, however he told me I needed to speak with his boss, where she would be signing me up. Week after week has gone by, and nothing. Every time she gives another excuse, and takes at least a week to get back. This would've been the easiest sign on ever I was ready to get started, but no clue what happened, and very unfortunate to read this has been the case with many others also involved with the company. Baxton Harper is an exceptional firm. They helped me with my taxes, bookkeeping and made revisions without question as needed.

Like everyone else, I had considered paying the extra money they charged to have a full service accounting firm represent me with my business. I was prepared to pay more than triple what others charge after I spoke to David. He has a really wonderful way of making you feel important and like he will make sure everything gets done the way you want it. He forwarded me someone from their firm to help me and they said they would call me to make an introduction. They didn't. I then emailed them cause what I needed done was time sensitive. They never responded. I left voicemails and emails and never got any response back. Sorry, but if I'm going to pay that much money the service better be amazing. Extremely fast response, at first. David called me within a day of my requesting quotes. Their rates were slightly higher than others, but I thought, if the experience is as quick and professional as my first conversation it's worth it! It's been 2 months of back and forth with very slow and limited responses - almost nothing I needed has been done. AVOID at all costs! They charge you triple or quadruple the amounts of any other place for the exact same services. Do not get fooled by David's charming you on how he would "answer any questions you have at any time", "will not ever overcharge you", etc. After a couple of months, he did not answer most of my calls or emails.
They wanted to charge me around 2800 for corporate return and bookkeeping even though the market rate is anywhere between 1200 to 1800.
They even wanted to charge me 1200 for a corporate return for a 6 days period corporate return!! I will get it done with my new accountant by 300. More...

I filled in a online questionnaire looking for some answers. But not necessarily looking for a CPA. A representative from Baxton Harper responded with a phone call the next day. I had a question about what is a "holding company" . I was given a clear and fully comprehendible explanation of what is the intent of a holding company. It helped tremendously. Even though I wasn't particularly looking for a CPA , the representative was more than happy to answer the question.
