I was served a new housing rebate assessment against me by the CRA. I called Barrett and asked them to take me on and assist with navigating the process to dispute as I chose the informal process. Barrett was amazing to deal with throughout the entire lengthy process. At every level they were courteous, professional, timely, thorough, thoughtful and took the time to see this through. Eventually we decided to go to the Tax Court of Canada and the DOJ ruled in my favour prior to a trial. I couldn’t have navigated this without them and really owe them the victory. The irs was collecting a debt from when I lived in Canada. This debt was incorrect and the irs was affecting me very negatively. Dale was able to both fix the actual debt and get it back to what it should have been and he was able to get me a payment plan so I could pay the cra directly over time rather than have the irs garnishee my pay check.
