What do you love most about your job?
Every project has new challenges and we enjoy the opportunity to resolve them. I enjoy constructing a client's intent into reality and welcome new ideas as well as designs. A builder or constructor can never stop learning and the day one stops learning is the day one stops growing. Each project and endeavour can provide a constructor with more knowledge and insight. That knowledge transfers to insight for every project there after.
Construction Management
As a Construction Manager, our duties may include the following: Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget. Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.
General Contractor
As a General Contractor Bakley Inc. is responsible for providing all of the material, labor, equipment, and services necessary for the construction of the project. We often hire specialized subcontractors to perform all or portions of the construction work. Our subcontractors have been carefully selected throughout our many years in the industry. They are capable and trusted from our experiences with them on many previous projects. Bakley Inc.'s number one priority is safety on the job site. Other responsibilities may include applying for building permits, advising the client, securing the property, providing temporary utilities on site, managing personnel on site, providing site surveying and engineering, disposing or recycling of construction waste, monitoring schedules and cash flows, and maintaining accurate records.
Construction Consulting
As a Construction Consultant we offer the following services: Travel to potential worksites to determine project feasibility, project costs for labor and insurance, coordinate with vendors to determine potential material costs, determine regulatory issues and required permit costs, and present findings to clients for evaluation.
