A woman’s wedding day can be at once exhilarating, frustration, surreal and instantaneous. We carefully mull over the guest list for weeks making sure that all our favourite people will surround us on the best day of our lives. But don’t forget! We’ll also spend a good portion of the day preparing for the main event. Hair and makeup for 5 women including the bride takes hours to accomplish—make sure you’re spending that time with your favourite-favourite people! I had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Liliana for a costume work event. The look was a Black Swan Ballerina inspired and the look she created was beyond incredible. The client was so happy with her work that they hired her instantly for the next event! With the look she created it was so easy to get into character because we looked the part. I have been dancing, choreographing, designing clothing and modeling since I was young and have worked with many makeup artists, either doing my makeup or doing makeup of my models or dancers. I'm used to having the makeup really stand out and still look beautiful but usually covering up the subjects natural beauty.
