I love having the ability to connect with all levels of business and owners providing them a service that is essential, for a fair and competitive value.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Randy Price, the former proprietor of J & C Building Cleaning was working full-time with the federal government when his wife Carolyn took time off her job outside of the home to raise their children. To help support the family income, Randy took on an evening cleaning job.

During this period the janitorial firm that Randy was working for went bankrupt. Randy decided to open his own janitorial business registering with the Ontario government as J & C Building Cleaning and took over the contract with the company that he was cleaning.

J & C Building Cleaning is currently growing and will continue to grow, offering flexible part-time hours, and helping support others in the community looking to supplement their income.

Michael Price, Randy’s son, has been working with J & C Cleaning since he was 12 years old by supporting in cleaning, and in 2009 started working with the marketing and training side of the business.

On July 1, 2021, Randy retired and Michael took over the business.

Leaving the private sector, Michael has followed his dream to pursue J & C Cleaning as his full-time career. He has had a passion for helping to provide jobs to many Ottawa residents over the last 15 years and building the brand of J & C Building Cleaning, ensuring proper training and strong customer support for all janitorial needs.

J & C Building has been a success story from the word go and presently holds janitorial contracts in Nepean, Kanata, West Ottawa, and Stittsville areas.
