When my external hard drive with 15 years of photos suddenly stopped working, I was directed to SafeKeep Data Recovery. Last week the worst thing that could happen in technology happened to me and all of my data and files were wiped from my memory stick. I found SafeKeep Data Recovery and I called Monty to see what he and the team could do and they were not only fast with getting back to me about what could be done but also very attentive and understanding through the whole process. I lost virtually all my data when my external hard drive was damaged. I had previously backed up some data, but, when the damage occurred, over 207GB was gone. A company locally tried unsuccessfully to recover the data. I then shipped the external drive to SafeKeep Data Recovery in Vancouver. I bought an external memory to make sure I don't lose important data. Then my memory showed all was gone....I took my external memory drive to a local store and they tried twice to get it back. But it was still missing tons of stuff. So they gave me a brochure of SafeKeep Data Recovery. I had a conversation with Monty and he gave me hope. I sent it following his instructions and hoping for the best. He gave me an estimate and asked me if I wanted to proceed. Of course! My photos from family and trips were there. I did not want to loose them. I have my mind to remember most of all but I don't know how to project these images to others :-). So all is well. I got my old drive and the new one with all what I needed and wanted. It was a great relief it worked. I am sooo happy. For all of you who are reading this review. It was not cheap but not terribly expensive. How much is your information worth? How much are your family photos worth.? Can you put a price? Took my 2017 macbook to SafeKeep and they were able to recover all of my data. I took my macbook to Apple beforehand and Apple gave a larger cost estimate/quote with no guarantee of recovery and encouraged me to just buy a new macbook instead (which. .. doesn't help me recover my data). The staff at SafeKeep only charge if they can recover the data, and the final cost was much cheaper than Apple's quote. They also gave tips about reliable local businesses that specialize with repairs/mac computers.
