On Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, I joined the Muskoka Cranberry Farm and Hardy Lake Hike with Northbound Tours and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other! I had an absolute blast. Never in my life did I imagine I’d find myself in a cranberry pond, but there I was, laughing and loving every second of it. Our guide, Chris, was incredible, super knowledgeable and passionate. 100% recommended. Bought this tour through Get your guide. Clear instructions were provided for the meeting point and pick up was right on time. Our tour guide was Joe. He made sure we had an amazing time.. A+ and two thumbs up for him. Funny and kind to all of us. This tour is a must do. Set aside an entire day for this tour.. Pick up 7:30am getting back around 9:00pm We did this tour on September (we got to see the fall foliage, which was truly beautiful). Suggestions.. have breakfast or bring your own (you are allowed to eat inside the bus). There is a stop in a grocery store so you can buy snacks, ect (if you don't bring food, make sure to buy some). Lunch stop is at the visitor center of the park, the options are very limited (just snacks, drinks and noodles). There is a microwave for use. There will be a stop for dinner (last stop of the tour). Our road trip to Sleeping giant was amazing! Great experience! Chris is an experienced and knowledgeable guide. He also makes an effort to get to know and check in with his participants. While Killarney was on my list of visits, a 4-hour drive is too much and I was not expecting to visit anytime soon- until I found out about Northound Tours, which made it possible for me sooner than expected. I don't mind a long drive and actually enjoy the views from the windows; however, there's entertainment in the vehicle including a television screen and reading materials about various trails. In addition to experiencing a new trail, I also ended up watching two movies I've never seen before on my ride there and back, so I felt that I had more experiences than expected in a day on trail. Exploring Bruce Peninsula and camping in Tobermory with Northbound Tours was an unforgettable experience! The scenery was breathtaking, and our Guide Chris was knowledgeable and friendly. I found them on IG last summer and decided to give them a go this year. I booked a day trip to hike Killarney Crack which included an introductory scramble (something I had been wanting to try but didnt want to do alone) It's far less expensive option than renting a car/gas, and I get to watch a movie & be a passenger princess instead😅 The guide Chris was super friendly and laid back, ensured we all felt included & safe. Pick-up, rest stops, & drop-off, was very smooth. He had extra of the necessities as well. Def recommend these guys for ppl who want to get out of the city & not have to do too much planning. I just want to say a big thanks to Chris for taking us through our first camping trip at Bruce Peninsula/Tobermory. I have always wanted to go but was hesitant because of how far it was. This was our second one-day trip with Chris from Northbound Tours, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. We hiked “The Crack” in Killarney Park—definitely a challenging trail, just like it’s described on the website—but it was absolutely doable and 100% worth the effort. Wow! What a great experience Chris/Northbound provided to my family on a recent Airport drop-off and pick-up.
From the first conversation (and there were many) Chris was professional, helpful, respectful, accommodating and friendly! Prices where industry standard (I did my homework) and we chose Northbound for the exceptional customer service and their ability to manage 12 passengers and luggage!
The vehicle was clean and comfortable, we were able to arrange a booster seat for our youngest grandchild and to top it off arrange an additional P/U and drop off for a very reasonable fee.
We had a very early morning drop off and late night pick up and Chris was pleasant, professional and on-time.
We highly recommend Northbound and look forward to utilizing them in the future!

My one day trip to Blue Mountain with Northbound tours was an amazing experince. Our tour guide and host Chris was outstanding.
