Yes, we provide both in-person and online therapy sessions for Individual Sessions, however currently Relationship, Couples and Family Therapy Sessions mostly held In Person only.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are a mask friendly space and each room is equipped with an air filtration system.
Individual Therapy
One-to-one counselling sessions using psychotherapy approaches in alignment with the client and focuses on addressing the personal emotional or mental health issues relevant to each individual such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and stress. It involves exploring emotional disturbances, body image concerns, addictions, and identity exploration, empowering individuals with tools and skills to manage their thoughts and feelings effectively while facilitating personal growth.
Couples Counselling
Addressing relationship dynamics and challenges faced by couples, including communication issues, intimacy concerns, and conflicts. It supports partners in sessions together in navigating grief and loss, understanding each other's needs, and fostering healthy boundaries, ultimately aiming to strengthen their emotional connection and resolve conflicts.
Child & Youth Therapy
Tailored for younger individuals, this therapy deals with issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, and behavioral challenges. It focuses on helping children and adolescents manage grief, friendship conflicts, and familial issues, while also supporting their emotional and developmental needs, to help them envision & strive towards their bright futures.
Student Therapy
Counselling specific to the challenges faced by students, including academic stress, anxiety, relationships, and self-esteem issues. It focuses on providing strategies for managing life transitions, building resilience, and enhancing coping skills to ensure that students can thrive both academically and personally.
Relationship Therapy
Counselling to nurture friendships, sibling, co-parenting, or even professional relationships. It helps two or more people navigate interpersonal conflicts, enhance communication skills, set appropriate boundaries, and foster understanding and support within their relationships together.
Family Therapy
Group counseling sessions for families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and address systemic issues affecting family dynamics. Spiritual Perspectives in Therapy
Considers the clients' religious beliefs in addressing emotional, mental, and relational health challenges, to express their concerns, explore the intersection of their faith and mental health, and work through issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts with an emphasis on their spiritual framework. This approach encourages personal growth and self-discovery, helping clients forge a meaningful connection between their faith and their overall well-being. Currently Niilo Wellness serves those seeking to work with a Muslim Therapist or Christian Therapist.
