Got our floors repaired with them, an absolutely stellar job from the whole crew. Everyone was incredibly kind, punctual, and up front. Job was done in 2 days, and would have been 1 if we didn't have to wait for the sealant to dry!!! Absolutely worth every penny and do not go with another contractor if you have the opportunity to work with them!! You will not regret it and your work will stand as proof for years to come. More...

After a horrible experience with a previous contractor and renovation we found Dennis and his crew to come help us right something that turned out very wrong. The floors of our entire main floor, including under the kitchen cabinetry, were installed incorrectly so it was a big difficult job we needed a solution for. Dennis and his crew were able to demo with no damage to the kitchen and stabilized the floor before installing new tile and hardwood. Huge shout out to Peter for his tile work, your patience and workmanship is appreciated. They also refinished our stairs and landings and I couldn't be happier with the result. We stayed within budget and communication was terrific. Possible issues were addressed and expectations were clear from the start. We waited 7 years and had several quotes to fix our floor issues and I know we made a good choice giving Dennis the job. More...

As a senior planning a major home renovation, finding the right contractor was very important to me. I met Dennis at a Whitby home show and immediately felt comfortable with him. From the beginning, he took the time to thoroughly discuss the design plan, which actually saved me from having to hire a designer.Dennis was extremely detailed, thoughtful, and well organized, making the entire renovation process easy to understand and stress-free. He is an excellent communicator and someone I truly trust. Everything went smoothly, and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome of my entire main floor renovation.Dennis is not only a wonderful contractor but also a genuinely good person. I will definitely be using him again for my upstairs renovation and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and professional contractor. More...

Dennis and team swooped in to save the day. After a poor experience with a local contractor, we were understandably cautious as we looked to find the right team to fix a job gone wrong. In walked in Dennis with his Matcon team with experience and understanding. They worked with us every step of the way, making sure we understood what was happening and easily worked with all our requests. They tackled every surprise with care and kindness, and delivered an end product that went beyond expectations! Taking our en-suite from a space we didn’t want to spend time in, to a top end luxury spa escape - we couldn’t be happier. Thank you Dennis and the whole team, we couldn’t be happier. More...

Reliable, Skilled, and a Pleasure to Work With! We’ve partnered with Matcon Inc. for three significant renovation projects over the past 8 years, and each time they've exceeded our expectations. From a beautiful bathroom remodel to a whole-home refresh, and currently underway, an extensive main floor renovation in our new home (kitchen, two bathrooms, new flooring, and trim throughout), their work has always been exceptional. What truly sets them apart is their communication. Dennis is responsive, thoughtful, and always keeps us in the loop. He listens carefully, understands our goals, and offers smart, budget-conscious advice. We always feel supported and heard — never pressured or overlooked. The craftsmanship is excellent (thank you, Siamak!). The attention to detail is clear, and the team maintains a tidy, organized work environment. With Matcon, we always know we’re in capable hands. Outstanding Renovation Company – Professional, Proactive, and Precise. I met Dennis at a trade show In Oshawa. I was looking for a contractor that would build an addition to my home for my mom. Let me just say that working with Dennis and his team was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. From the very first consultation to the final walk-through, Dennis was professional, communicative and deeply committed to quality. What truly set Matcon Inc. apart was their transparency, respect for timelines and their ability to anticipate issues before they became problems. This approach truly sets them apart from any other contractor that I have worked with. Whether it was spotting structural concerns early, ordering materials ahead of schedule to avoid delays, or suggesting smart designs tweaks to avoid costly revisions later, their foresight saved me time, money and a lot of stress. The team was incredibly organized, communicative and respectful throughout the entire renovation. I was always made sure that I was informed and involved in every key decision. My new addition looks fabulous, and functions better than I had imagined. Thanks to Matcon Inc's attention to detail and forward-thinking approach. I felt that I was in expert hands every step of the way. If you are looking for a renovation team that goes above and beyond, and truly things ahead, Matcon is the one to call. You will not regret it. Highly Recommended! More...
