I cannot recommend Kelsey enough. She was super quick to respond to emails with questions and to book our session. She stayed in contact throughout the time between booking, maternity and newborn. Our baby came a month early and she was happy to accommodate moving up our newborn photos. Kelsey was AMAZING!!! I wouldn’t consider myself photogenic by any means and my husband was completely against a couples photoshoot, but after seeing Kelsey’s portfolio I knew we had to try. I am SO glad we did, the pictures came out gorgeous and Kelsey is so genuine and funny that even my husband felt comfortable in front of the camera. What inspired you to start your own business?
It really began with a deep desire to create something meaningful—not just for others, but for my own family too. After becoming a mom, I saw how quickly time moves and how easy it is for those everyday moments to slip by undocumented. I picked up my camera to preserve the beauty in our own chaos, and it quickly turned into a passion for capturing that same magic for other families.
Starting my own business allowed me to build something that aligned with both my creativity and my values. I wanted flexibility, purpose, and the ability to connect with people on a deeper level. Photography lets me do all of that—it’s not just a job, it’s a way of honouring the stories that matter most.
