I first met Ms. Anita Pastor at the building where our new condo was handed to us. She showed us around the showroom where there were displays of furniture, and different sets of blinds.
. we walked up to our condo where Ms Pastor made several suggestions that showed her knowledge and very good taste. From then on I felt confident we were in very good hands.
Anita put her talent and her heart into our condo furnishings and finishes with matching wall paint uniting all colors into a beautiful harmony where everything matched and was in its right place.
Anita’s talent and good spirit made us love our condo and the same was felt by any visitor. A notable sense of beauty in every corner.. Anita was very gracious and extremely accommodating to my taste.
We both highly recommend Anita and House of Pastor to design any home, exquisite taste and workmanship. A very pleasant personality to deal with and who easily becomes a family member!

We needed last minute help before going into the builder's design selection appointment.
Anita from House of Pastor Design contacted me.
As we spoke on the phone she listened, asked relevent questions, and took her time to find out about me and husbands needs.
She showed up on time for our meeting and worked with my husband and I choosing cabinets and flooring for our new build. We accomplished a lot and we were both pleased with the selections made with her help.
Anita throughout our time together was very patient, knowledgeable, listened to us to help us work through decisions where we couldn't agree.
After we worked with her she told us she would be available for us to contact her if we had any questions on the day of our builders appointment.
After our appointment with our Builder she sent us a message which we thought that was very thoughtful!
We would highly recommend Anita, and we would use her again in the future.

What’s your interior design process?
My design process is to understand the priorities and needs of my clients and their families. What is not functioning in their home and why? What solutions can we provide to them that would make their life easier? How does the family function? Who uses what rooms and how? They key is to understand the client's needs and desires along with their design style, budget, and timelines. With these key items established we can move forward to create a beautiful functional design for the home.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I cater to all interior design styles ranging from contemporary, transitional, to traditional.
What do you love most about your job?
I love when the client and I become a great team and together we transform their space making it feel like they purchased a new home. The space brightens up, there is flow between rooms, the colours palettes are all coordinated and the home feels larger, more inviting and fun. There is plenty of storage for the kids to put their toys, the clutter is gone, and the whole family is connecting and functioning in the best way possible.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to give my clients a full service offering so that they could be with an expert to take them from start to finish in their project. In my experience there should always be a professional designer appointed to oversee all aspects of a project. Numerous design decisions arise in projects that require expertise when dealing with contractors, trades, and other various professionals. Having an experienced designer appointed to assist to make those decisions based on years of experience ensures optimum results.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am deeply passionate about interior design and renovation and I put my heart and soul into each and every project. I go above and beyond for all of my clients as I strive to produce the best results possible delivering projects within budget and on time.

Yes, I can indeed deliver some of my services remotely by having virtual calls to discuss your project. I can provide many services via email providing floor plans, furniture selections, design boards, etc. digitally.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I ensure all clients are well and have not had any major colds, flus, or Covid before meeting in person. As well as I ensure my wellness when meeting with clients at all times.
