Warning – Evolution Custom Development took my money and disappeared!

I hired Evolution Custom Development and paid a $6,000 deposit in good faith for a patio project at my home. I dealt directly with Jimmy, who assured me the job would be completed weeks ago. After one excuse about the weather, there was nothing — no work, no updates, no effort to reschedule.

I wrote to them several times by email, asking for clarification, a timeline, or even just a response. I was met with complete silence. They never replied.

As a senior dealing with cancer, this project was meant to bring some peace and comfort during a difficult time. Instead, it brought stress, frustration, and the feeling of being taken advantage of. It is deeply disappointing and, quite frankly, shameful.

I am now filing formal complaints and considering legal action. I truly hope no one else has to go through what I have.

Will work with them again next year they went above and beyond what we were expecting and we cant wait till next year to do more work with them.

Was not impressed. Decisions and costs were agreed upon. After hiring them to do our project and paid the deposit they had no recollection of our agreement so the costs exceeded our expectations. Completed this job as requested. She wanted us to do extra work for her at our cost, we told her how much it would cost and didnt want use to do it. The job was only to do removal, put down landscape fabric and put down edging. And they would put rocks in themselves
