Absolutely loved having Shaun DJ our wedding!! The dance floor with electric! And cocktail hour was soo classy. We can’t say enough amazing things about DJ Shawn Hurd! Shawn was the DJ for both our Jack and Jill and our wedding, and he absolutely nailed it both times. From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our events were everything we wanted—and more. At our Jack and Jill, Shawn brought the energy and kept the party going all night. He read the room perfectly and had everyone—from our youngest guests to our grandparents—out on the dance floor. Then came our wedding, and WOW. Shawn created such a seamless flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. We hired Shawn for our wedding in 2022, and he absolutely killed it! One of the most memorable moments of the night was our unique wrestling-style entrance and he was completely open to the idea from the start. I had Wes out to do a repair job through explore. If he had it done his job properly I wouldn't have had to have someone come back two weeks later and be out another 5 days on the internet. I got married this past June and having Shawn as a DJ was one less thing I had to worry about in the planning process. He came highly recommended and he lived up to that standard throughout the entire process. He will take care of as much or as little as you would like for your special day, has great options for lighting and is even willing to go above and beyond to mix a special first wedding dance song (if that’s your thing)!
