Working with Mikey was incredibly effortless. As a bride who decided to take on the entire wedding planning process, while managing a store for the first time, and simultaneously moving Mikey made my life so much easier. I dropped the ball a few times getting information he needed to him when needed, and not once did he make me feel pressured or did he seem annoyed with me. Needless to say, my wedding was an incredible night and everything I ever dreamt of. He kept our guest laughing, singing, dancing and enjoying all night long. Working with Mikey was so fun, both before and during the event. We weren't sure if we would have a DJ initially, but I knew of Mikey from the Get It Together days and convinced my fiance to at least consider it.
I'm so glad we did! Our initial phone conversation with Mikey was great and confirmed we were all on the same page. He also sent over a spreadsheet for requests, must-plays, and do-not-plays, which helped us feel secure that we would get the music we wanted.
Working with Mikey on the day was so easy. He showed up exactly on time, got set up quickly, and was so kind to all our guests and other vendors (and he fit right in with our funky formal dress code!).
We wanted a fun, dance-party atmosphere at our reception, and we got exactly that. Mikey is great at feeling the vibe of the crowd and playing music to complement the flow of the event and pull people onto the dance floor. We had an absolutely fantastic time at our party, and DB3 was a huge part of that!

Mikey was extremely easy to work with and immediately understood our vibe and music tastes from our first call. He came prepared with all the equipment he needed for both the ceremony and reception, and was fully set up and ready to go even as we moved from one space to another throughout the day.
It was a total pleasure to have Mikey at the wedding. His music selection at the reception was on point. The dance floor was vibed hard to his music. He even put on bboy music and started a bboy circle when we told him our cousin was a breakdancer.
Mikey was prepared, fun, and energetic. He is just a really nice guy - all our interactions with him were really positive and we generally enjoyed hanging out with him throughout the day. He is the best addition to any event. We would recommend him to anyone planning an event and looking for someone to play good music and stir up a rowdy dance floor. Absolutely no notes. Finding a DJ that appeals to a party with a wide range of guests is never easy, but DJ Mikey/DB3 took that challenge...and crushed it! !! We hired DJ DB3 to spin for an annual holiday party hosted at my home for about 100 guests. Mikey took the time to call me before accepting the gig to find out the type of event, location and most importantly to get a feel for what guests would be in attendance. My guest list is diverse with all ages, genders, ethnicities represented but he curated a brilliant list that catered to all. Most importantly on the night of the event he read the room and sussed out the vibe as the evening progressed and he adapted his play list accordingly. My guests were super impressed. It is nearly impossible to have guests unanimously agree that they loved a DJ...but Mikey damn near achieved that. The feedback was excellent. The single biggest determinant of whether is DJ is good or not is, would I hire him again??...the answer is a resounding yes! Happy holidays More...

What a night! DJ Mikey was the literal life of our 'Parents Night Out' party. His playlist was a carefully curated mixtape that was as diverse as our neighborhood, but somehow he had every single one of us swaying, dancing, and even attempting moves we thought were firmly left in our pre-kid era.
From nostalgic hits that took us back to our carefree days, to the latest chart-toppers that we secretly groove to during carpool, he had them all. The transitions were smoother than our favorite cocktail, and his energy was contagious. He didn't just play music, he played us like a well-tuned piano, hitting the right notes to maximize fun and keep the party vibe buzzing all night.
If you want a DJ who will transport you to a time where your biggest worry was deciding between the dance floor and the snack table, look no further. We can't recommend him highly enough.

I hired DB3 to MC my wedding. Sound wise everything was perfect all night. They were able to accommodate some out of the ordinary music requests of some cultural music, they accepted and followed a do not play list, and they kept everyone moving all night long. He is professional, collaborative, adaptable and energetic - and the system was boomin’!
He read the room perfectly - guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night. He provided amazing mash-ups and mixes and great energy, and in fact, other guests at our wedding have since hired him for their own weddings. That is the highest compliment an events entertainer can get. His name always comes up in conversation whenever family or friends reminisce about our “big day”.
I highly recommend DB3 to anyone in the Toronto area and beyond for all of their event entertainment needs. He is a 10 out of 10 absolutely.
