Bookkeeping
How we establish bookkeeping services for our clients:
- Our clients provide us access to their cloud-based accounting software, designating us as accountant users.
- Clients submit all received invoices, bills, and expense receipts to us through various methods, including email or text. We securely manage and store these documents on a cloud-based platform, to which clients have access. Additionally, clients can choose to send physical copies of these documents via mail on a weekly basis.
- Clever Counting takes care of processing regular expenses such as utility bills and online subscriptions without requiring clients to send them individually. This includes bills from suppliers like Enbridge, Alectra, Toronto Hydro, Rogers, Bell, Telus and etc. We only need access to the online cloud-based accounts of these suppliers or copies of lease agreements with landlords, ensuring that clients no longer have to deal with the hassle of daily operations filing and bookkeeping.
We will ensure all payments are made promptly, and we will always seek your electronic approval before proceeding.
​Bank Accounts
At Clever Counting Co, we streamline your company's banking operations, making them hassle-free. No longer will you need to visit your bank for EFT, HST, or wire transfers. You'll only need to go to the bank for cash deposits.
We can transition your entire Account Payables payment system to online banking platforms if it's not already in place. Business owners and directors can simply log in to their bank accounts and approve payments prepared by our accountants.
Depending on your business needs, whether you prefer payments from bank accounts, credit cards, frequent wire transfers, or need staff with company credit cards and expense restrictions, Clever Counting Co can provide recommendations on the most suitable Canadian banks for your situation.
We handle HST, WSIB, and other government compliance reports and payments directly from your bank account, with you only needing to log in for approval. All your banking transactions are seamlessly integrated and reconciled with your accounting system on a daily basis, putting your financial data at your fingertips every day.
Payroll
The customer grants us access to their cloud-based payroll system, enabling us to process payroll for contract, hourly, and commission-based employees. We will process hours based on either the data provided to us by the customer prior to payroll processing, or by accessing the customer's cloud-based time-clock software that tracks the hours employees have worked.
After processing the payroll, it requires approval from our client before finalization.At Clever Counting Co, we specialize in streamlining your payroll procedures. We seamlessly transition and manage your payroll through a cloud-based system if it's not already in place. Whether your workforce consists of hourly, contract, project-based, or commission-based employees, we make payroll hassle-free for business owners and directors.
