April has watched our puppy many times including multiple overnight stays. From the start she was professional, warm and communicative. She was great at sending daily updates and photos which really put me at ease. She first took care of him when he was a 10 week old puppy and really understood his needs and gave him lots of attention. She handled him wonderfully. April is fantastic! She came right in and engaged so well with our 10 week Cobberdog. We wanted to work on some commands and biting. By the end of our 1 hour session, April had our puppy following commands to sit then down and the beginnings of roll over. Most importantly, she was able to give us great information on why she was biting and how to stop it. Immediately, we were able to implement what she showed us and it worked! We have had a few nips here and there but now she gets that she cannot do it and we use a key word if we see she is going to try it. What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to help humans and their animals live harmoniously, as well as taking care of animals. Animals are the best therapy! I love seeing the transformation of each pet that I train, so they can become their best self, working together with their owners.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have actually been in business many years and still own a beauty salon on the Gold Coast, and online store. I built my beauty business to a point where my staff can take care of the day to day of the salon, and I have my own time again. I still offer online business coaching and beauty courses.
In 2021, I decided to follow my life long passion for animals, and study my canine behaviour certificate. I also volunteered my time to Wildcare, as a call centre operator, and as a Wildlife Rescuer, completing their training courses and dedicating my spare time. I continue to do wildlife rescue, however I focus majority of my time on animal behaviour training and pet care, like dog walking and pet sitting. Puppy training is my favourite of course, but I love helping all dogs and animals of all ages.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid isn’t really an issue now, however we always practice high hygiene standards
Pet Sitting: $65 per night
Pet Sitting for your Pet in our secure family home in Burleigh waters so you can go do life while we pamper your besties!
Pet Visits: $65 per day
We can visit your pets in your home to feed and water, walk etc.
Pet Training: $80 per hour
Experienced in dog training, Certification in Canine Behaviour, horse training and experience with all animals cats, reptiles, birds and small animals
Dog Walking: $35 per 30min, $50 2hr Dog Adventure
30-60min dog walking or 2-3hr dog group adventures beach or hike
Horse Care Service: $50 per visit
We will visit your horse while you’re away or busy, to feed/rug/medicine/water for you. We also provide Horse Training or riding services
Horse Training: $80 per 1hr session
We will train your horse for desired behaviours like saddle training, spookiness, rider/horse connection, hoof cleaning etc. just let us know what type of behaviour goals you have for your horse. We also offer riding lessons
Board and Train: $65 per night
For pups that need extra attention and training, we will bring them to our home and work on your behaviour goals with them each day
Doggy Daycare $50 per day, $10 pick up/drop off
