Training, I use positive reinforcement and game-based training which will improve the owner and dog's relationship and leads to great results.

Rob has been absolutely fantastic with our dog, Pepe. Pepe can be temperamental with other dogs and needs space, and he can also be reactive to certain dogs and occasionally nervous in new environments. Rob handled all of this with such ease, confidence, and genuine care. He clearly understands dog behaviour and knew exactly how to support Pepe, keeping him calm and comfortable while still encouraging good walking habits. It was really reassuring to know Pepe was in such capable hands, especially given his sensitivities. Rob is both confident and caring, and it truly shows in how well he works with dogs. It was really good to have a face to face trainer. After meeting our little pup Otto, Rob was able to personalise the training sessions to suit. Otto is a very active little boy and rarely sits still which can make training a bit of a challenge but Rob was able to show us methods and gave us pointers on how to train such a busy little boy. It was extremely satisfying to see how fast Otto progressed with his training during Rob’s training sessions. I have nothing but glowing praise for Luckydog Walking and Training! My two golden retrievers love their daily walks (substituted for “stay and play” training in the garage in poor weather), and day visits when I’m working an extra long shift. What do you love most about your job?
The dog walks and day visits. I get the pleasure of spending time with lots of different dogs.
The training, I get to see the owner and their dog bond grow. I see the owner understand why their dog is behaving in this way and I see the owner and their dog using the skills I have taught them change the problem behaviours.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working for a local vet for a couple of years, I have gained experience and knowledge. I now feel confident I can help owners and their dogs.

Luckydog Walking and Training.
I offer daily dog walks, home visits and training in your home.
Training-I use positive reinforcement and games-based training with the dogs I work with, I find most dogs love this kind of interaction and owners get great results.
This type of training strengthens the bond between the owner and their dog or puppy, which results in having a dog or puppy that listens to you and wants to work with you, this in turn helps with behaviours that most owners have trouble with such as recall, loose lead walking and basic obedience.
I can also help with unwanted behaviours such as barking, jumping up, lack of calmness, reactivity to other dogs and people, and separation anxiety.
Each lesson comes with a follow up email which covers everything we have discussed and worked on during the lesson, plus any relevant pdfs. Each individual lesson comes with follow up complimentary phone call a week or two later to see how things are going.
I have a number of training options:
Initial in-home assessment and training (approx 1 hr lesson)
Revisit training (approx 1hr lesson)
3 and 5 lesson packages. (each lesson is approx 1 hr)
