John Laham is an amazing photographer, with a lot of experience but also someone who is honest, kind-hearted, upfront, knowledgeable and pleasing to be around.

From a professional perspective he was someone who impressed us with his pitch when choosing photographers that we decided on the day of meeting him that we would go ahead and choose him.

On the day of the wedding, he was both discrete but also active. He took a lot of photos on our day, never missing any important moment.

Afterwards, he involved us in the selection process of the album. The turnover was relatively quick which was also a big plus. We're very pleased with his services and would recommend to friends and family.

John Laham photographed our Wedding on the 25th November 2018.
From the moment we saw John’s photographs online, we knew this man was something special – an Artist! His photographs were something I had never seen before, unique and we were very intrigued to meet John Laham. Having met John, we instantly fell in love with his work and with him! We knew that this was the man who was going to capture the most special day of our lives, which is exactly what he did.
We absolutely loved our Wedding Photos and couldn’t be happier with our Wedding Album. It’s the most gorgeous Wedding Album we have ever seen! John managed to capture so much love and emotion. It’s something we can cherish for the rest of our lives and hopefully one day pass it on to our children to love and cherish.

John Laham… where do I start? Best candid photos I’ve ever seen? Best artistic touch to every image? Maybe his little jokes, which just take all the stress away? Or instead it should be the story of a group of new friends finding my wedding album last week. Showing it to a new person is always quite an experience for me, because I’m an introvert, who cannot pose for the photos, yet on those pictures I look like a movie star. It’s almost embarrassing hearing yet another bunch of people going “wow” at every page, or OMG how did he do that??? Or bursting with laughter at something funny or unexpected - captured fleeting moments which some people wouldn’t even notice, but John did :). I knew John was the one right from the begining. We didn't even look at any other photographers. Booked a meeting and the rest was history. John is an absolute treasure of a human. We arranged for John to shoot our (ultimately very delayed covid wedding) but were so taken aback with his talent and charisma when we met him that our friends instantly booked him as well for their big day. We spent lots of time with John at both our friends and our wedding and he has the most incredible personality which brings out love and laughter in yourself that ultimately gets to shine through in John's photos. We are horribly unphotogenic people and hate the idea of posing for photos but John made us feel comfortable from start to finish and we're astounded with the end result, he can work miracles! John was our wedding photographer back in Nov 2014.
We were referred to him from my diamond jeweler in Sydney (either as a lucky pick or intentional referral), nevertheless we were lucky to meet him in person.

John has an incredible personality, bubbly and loves to crack witty jokes. He made my wife and I comfortable being around his presence. He was able to walk us through a short personal photography session to understand his style and able to create one of his signature Art portraits.

I was originally sceptical at first but I’m glad we’ve stuck with our decision and not pursue anyone else. John was quick and efficient. He didn’t need to assemble people around to take perfect shots, he used his great judgement to predict and capture those “blink than you miss” moments

We are happy to recommend John to other happy couples that wishes to celebrate their perfect day. Don’t take our word or the other positive reviews left by his other clients. Book a meeting with him and you’ll be able to know when you’ve made the right choice.

John was a total dream come to life! John is an authentic, kind, passionate human being who cares as much for his clients as for his work/service. John is always respectful and open to the clients wants/needs.
Johns work as a photographer is professional, beautiful and of a high standard. It's clear he loves it and John is fun to watch while at work - he is so enthusiastic and passionate!
