What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about being of service to families, who need help with their child's schooling. I am very driven to make a difference in a student's education and empower them to reach their full potential. I am patient and caring, setting realistic goals, but I do expect students to give their very best. I love to see students grow in confidence in their subject area and then become a more capable student in the classroom.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After so much schooling at home during the past few years, many students have missed important building blocks in their education. They also lack the confidence to perform at their best and have fallen behind academically.
FACE Tutoring stands for FAMILIES AND CHILDRENS EDUCATION. This business was started out of a deep concern for students who may need some extra help to reach their full potential.

I have 20 + years of experience as a Primary Teacher across all Year levels. I have been a lead teacher in Learning Support for Maths and English. I have the skillset to help students reach their very best.

Yes. I prefer to provide my services online.
I use a Google Meet meeting so that I can see exactly how a student is working and improving. The camera can be positioned to observe student work, just like a FACE to FACE meeting. This is effective across all Year levels.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid-19 had been a big reason why there is a gap in students' education, but this has allowed more Online
access to assist in student learning. Online services are extremely safe and effective.
