How long have you been in business?
Precious Professional Maids (Pty) Ltd was founded two (2) years ago by Mrs Precious Mapunya, with the expectations of participating strongly in both the domestic and corporate sector by being a service provider who brings the best results to the customers.
The aim of the company is to render services in cleaning, laundry, ironing, babysitting and peeling of vegetables for homes, parties and funerals services.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
No we expect the customers to provide us with cleaning equipment and supplies.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the smiles of happy customers. I am a person who loves finding innovative ways of helping people. So whenever I see a delighted customer, I feel as though my passion has purpose and then purpose has been fulfilled.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a professional accountant
/auditor. In my career we are expected to work long hours and I didn’t have time to do house chores. I’m a reserved person by nature, I also like my own space due to that I couldn’t cope with the full time helpers and it was difficult for me to find reliable once off helpers. I then decided to start a cleaning company that will help career/working women like me and that was the birth of Precious Professional Maids, an affordable cleaning company.

Because Precious Professional Maids is a company that focuses on helping professional people who needs time to relax and focus on their careers and other business aspects of their lives. Our services are affordable and suites different people from different backgrounds.

Remotely. We can’t provide cleaning services online. Our services are provided in the customers’ house or location of choice.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our helpers comply with Covid - 19 regulations.
They always have their masks on while cleaning in the houses of the customers.
They wash and sanitize their hands after every 20 minutes.
