I can't recommend Lauren highly enough. It was such a wonderful experience working with her, as well as her partner Leslie. I used to dread staying at home. Although a lovely house, it just felt dark, cold and dreary. After working with Lauren, I LOVE staying at home and being in this beautiful bright light gorgeous space! And I've had to be home a lot recently - with a tiny baby I don't get out much ;) We trust Lauren implicitly and just let her go ahead and transform a room with little to no input from ourselves ;) She really takes time to get to know her clients and understand exactly what each wants. And she gets it spot on every time. She's also incredibly resourceful which helps keep costs down, and makes use of what you already have. For instance, she painted an existing mirror we had to fit in with the new look. She believes that everyone (not just the wealthy) should be able to live in beautiful spaces. The phrase “out with the Old and in with the New” has a whole new meaning to me since meeting Lauren, owner of local business, Paint and Patina. My cottage style furniture has seen me through many good years, however the time had come to make a decision to start fresh. Getting rid of something that’s been a part of my life for such a long time didn’t come easy, until a friend of mine mentioned Lauren and her Interior Design business. After having a look through her Facebook Page and seeing some of the projects she had already completed, it gave me the confidence to get into contact her. We exchanged ideas over a couple cups of coffee, discussed everything from the mood I was trying to create, to the colour pallets we wanted to use. By the end of that day, she had a plan already in motion to bring my vision to life. In just 2 week, Lauren had given my 10 year old furniture a complete makeover! I felt involved and part of the team every step of the way in the creative process and we were in constant communication with one another. Lauren is a passionately creative person who loves what she does and this reflects in each of her clients finished pieces.
