What do you love most about your job?
Mbuso Nxumalo is a music leader and entrepreneur from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. He is a
scholar, aspiring creative, academic writer, and full-time Master of Music candidate at the
University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Nxumalo is one of the university's top students,
specializing in choral and opera music, music leadership, and vocal teaching studies.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Nxumalo is the current conductor of the UKZN Youth Choir. The music enthusiast also directs
the Durban Serenade Community Adult Choir, one of the city's oldest choirs. His breadth
of musicianship distinguishes him because of his passion for youth empowerment and
development in music and non-music skills through his leadership and music mentorship
program, Identity Confirmed (leadership and music academy).
Why should our clients choose you?
I have several years of experience in Music teaching and Conducting Choral, Jazz and Pop choirs
(with different age groups). My knowledge of music is extensive and I am a skilled, hardworking
teacher and a conductor who brings concepts to life in creative ways.
I am currently a lecture at the University KwaZulu-Natal. My experience also lies in teaching comprehensive music lessons, in Music Leadership, Vocal Teaching Methods, Music Theory and Keyboard Studies.
With the ability to keep learning, exploring, easily adapting and positioned to greatly exceed your expectations for this role, I am confident that I can significantly contribute towards the growth of your talent.

Sessions are available online or in person with an option to come to our school venue o we travel to your home (Durban clients only with in 15km away from the Academy)
