Services

With Golden Tree Fellers, you are in good hands. We are here for all your tree needs in Cape Town. Our extensive range of services includes pruning crown reducing and thinning, and crown raising and limb removal. We cater to all trees including large and difficult.

We do this a lot to allow more light into properties and gardens. You might also need this work if your tree has become too large for its environment, for instance, if you have a mature oak in a small garden. We always do this work sympathetic the tree’s shape remains natural.

Start shaping the hedge as soon as practical. A formal hedge, whether new or established, should be tapered so that it is wider at the bottom than the top. This ensures the lower part will get the sunlight it needs for healthy growth.

If you've previously had a tree felled or have moved into a property with tree stumps, you might be considering getting rid of them. If you've ever tried to remove a tree stump, you will know just how tricky it can be! They are notoriously difficult to remove because of the unseen root growth beneath.

If the area under your tree is too dark or damp, then crown thinning can help. It will let more light in to create better conditions for planting and produce a lovely dappled sunlight effect. You may prefer this to reduction work as it retains the tree’s natural shape and growth patterns.

If you have a section going under construction and needs a full clearing of trees, shrubs, and all other vegetation we can do so for you. Our experienced team can clear your site of old structures, shrubs, bamboo, etc., and leave the property safe and clean for your new project.

Tree Pruning should be done early in the season with regards to fruit trees or when the tree is dormant. A good time to start pruning is when the tree is young, which when done right will help the tree grow correctly to achieve strong branches.
