Coming out from a tertiary education a mandatory internship to qualify. The founder found employment for a renowned draftsman where through his mentorship cemented his Interior Design and architectural career.
With one or two achievements of work done, the founder freelanced during the transition of being a Student.Entering the working world after having my biggest and constant client offering a transition into employment. Development of residential and a bit of corporate office design environments. In this period saw an opportunity to work for a specialist residential design and manufacturing company which integrated the synergy between design, operations and manufacturing.

In this period the founder enhanced his studies by furthering his diploma into a degree, where he did his B-Tech in Interior Design. His B-Tech subject matter was office design, where he researched office design principles
‘If they can be applied to the development of Black SMME’S and integrate all supportstructures into one sustainable space’
The research fuelling my passion for business acumen (as research outlined business acumen mechanism to generate funds). Furthermore an understanding of SMME’s challenges was researched.
Opportunity knocked when one of the research interviewees representing a certain sector within the research, offered the founder his experience in the office industry. The exposure to the world of components, industrial design and office trends and principles.
Reaching the pinnacle of his understanding of the office furniture industry within mostly South Africa. He had an opportunity to take his space planning skills in the office industry to a scientific level within retail. The science of space planning developed in the corporate retail arena. His mind blown away with how ‘DESIGN’ was integrated with ‘SCIENCE’ to drive profitability and efficiency of rental space.
A stint in micro-space planning (where the shelf and each individual product is scientifically analyzed and applied. Life took me back to Cape Town where he went into the Corporate Property facilities environment. This was where there was accelerant of knowledge where his project management skills and design skills where enhanced by being involved in a big project of moving 2000 staff members and furniture withina 3 month period. Accelerating and bringing full circle the experience of office design and implementation process. From the space planning to the churning operations right down to the details of nuts and bolts (literally).
With the retail bug still not completely out of the founders system he went back into retail store designing working solely in REVIT.

Bringing us to now where the founders accumulated skills and business acumen is displayed through GAMDANE and strategic partnerships.

Within Corporate design we can also go as far as creating building profiles which include, Fire Plans, Maintenance register, a list of all services within the building and a profile of times for maintenance and database of service providers. Our building profiles also keeps an inventory of the movable assets and maintenance plan.

With a strong eye for Art and design, this drove the founder to an attempt at Architecture but being chosen for a life in Interior Design. A forced choice being the best decision ever, with Interior Design encompassing many disciplines with the likes of

- And ironically Architecture
The founder whilst studying, to sustain the required stationary and equipment for drawing, he found work at promotional companies. This built his confidence and enhancing his understanding of human behavior (Through many marketing campaigns). This activity gave him the grass root levelunderstand of marketing and love for marketing.

Im all about results and nothing else. Results first and then the money will follow as I want the customer to be happy and be able to always refer to the satisfaction of knowing that what they paid for was worthwhile .
