After having acquired a house in Camps Bay we were faced with the challenge of a „naked“ house without any furniture and no pictures at the wall with the exception of some built-in cupboards. What to do?
Eventually we decided that it is impossible for us to do it ourselves with limited time in Capetown and not knowing the local shops etc. We searched the net for interior designers and invited a few to our house. It was in that context that we met Adri and Christiaan, who are the faces of AnnaGiorgina, for the first time. It was impressive how quickly they picked up on our initial ideas. At the same time they convinced us by their can-do-attidude and their hand-on-approach. After a quick walk through the house
they immediately spotted some weaknesses in the house we have not been aware of and came up with ideas how to adress those issues. That was the first when we noted that the competencies of AnnaGiorgina reached far beyond design.

As a consequence we mandated them with the project of both coming up with a design idea for the house and sourcing of the respective furniture and all necessities including kitchen equipment and all electrical appliances. Afterwards we flew back to Germany and were kind of uncertain whether that young couple would really be able to cope with the project.

However, we were positively surprised: they followed up swiftly on the agreed upon milestones and after some quite productive presentations via Teams the mutual ideas were fruitfully merged always with a keen eye on the available budget.

After three months we came back to Capetown to start to live in the new house. We were greeted by Adri and Christiaan and introduced to the realized project. And they really exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. The selection and quality of furniture was superb. Whenever feasible they implemented some little extra ideas which gave the respective room or item a special flavour. They really adressed the issue of making the house ‚ready to live in’ holistically. In sum, it was an extraordinary experience and pleasure to work with Adri and Christiaan. Most important is to know is that if you contract with them you not only hire a designer but you also hire a management team which understands to handle complex projects from beginning to the end and can deal well with time and budget constraints. They do have the right mindset that is it necessary to go the extra mile to make a client happy. That was well proved in the way they helped us to settle down in Capetown by answering tons of questions unrelated to the initial project. And last but not least both have an inspiring entrepreneurial spirit, are smart, trustworthy, and despite their younger age well experienced to be successful in a broad range of business situations. We would happily recommend their services to others and entrust them with new projects if they come up.
