Very expensive call out fee! Would not recommend, had to call out another electrician to fix my issue. Customer service was terrible, rude and unprofessional.

Be careful! One of the most unprofessional companies I have come accross!

I put a request on Bark for an electrician to come and check my Inverter as it no longer picked up the Eskom feed. John responded quickly. He informed me that the problem was that two of the switches on the changeover box were defective and needed to be replaced. He proceeded to quote me about ZAR 9'500 for the job. I authorized the repairs and he went ahead. When he was done, the inverter was still not registering the Eskom line. He told me the problem is actually within the Inverter and he cannot open it without voiding my warranty. He promised to come back after I contact the inverter manufacturer. The inverter company says my electrician open the front of the inverter and check for some basic issues without voiding the warranty. It has been 2 weeks and John has been dodging my calls, coming up with stories why he missed our last 3 appointments after the fact. Overall a very disappointing experience with a very unprofessional company, that does not keep their appointments or promises. More...

Be careful! One the most unprofessional company I have ever come across.

John phoned me. I asked what his call out fee is. He said nothing. He will come and look at my inverter and then see what has to be done then give me a quote. He then checked the Eskom board which is not why I wanted him to do. I wanted my inverter to be checked. He then said stuff that had to be replaced bla bla. Then he demanded R450 immediate payment. My landlord's electrician came, nothing had to be replaced the board was perfect and the trip switch worked 100 %. Now he says the R450 is a callout fee???
