Wow, the communication between myself & the sales representative was amazing. From the moment I reached out regarding my move & a quote, I was immediately attended to, from the pricing, collection dates, updates on how each phase of the move right down to the delivery of my items. It was seamless!

We were hesitant after reading bad reviews on CDJ on ‘Hellopeter’, but CDJ came to our rescue after we had fallen prey to a **** and was left stranded. We were moving furniture from Jhb to Cape Town with a certain company, and after arriving to Colesburg, found that the furniture was never collected after we have made final payment. Shane from CDJ came to our rescue, and without us even being in Jhb, organized everything starting the next day. He kept us up to date on a daily basis till the furniture arrived in CT. Horrible service ; never use CDJ
Service we required was from JHB – PMB. Shane advised delivery was to take place 10 Dec; advised truck was 170km to PMB and will be delivered by 7pm ; at 6:45pm advised goods cannot be delivered . Thereafter Shane’s phone was off and voicemail. No communication at all ; radio silence .On 12 Dec got a message that his ops team will advise – there is no ops team ; merely a delay tactic; it appears that they outsource your delivery. Never heard anything from Shane again!

Goods were finally delivered on 15 Dec.

I will never ever use CDJ again; never ever! Do so at your own peril ! More...

The entire experience from collection to delivery was seamless and stress-free. From the office staff to the drivers, I was treated with respect and professionalism. My belongings arrived on time and in perfect condition. I cannot recommend CDJ more highly. More...

Good service, and was happy to use this company

Words cannot describe our absolute horrible experience with CDJ.

It all started well with our packing as arranged, but as soon as the truck left it was a completely different story.

After all our belongings left on the moving truck the Friday, we received an invoice that evening for extra items (plants etc - that were actually included with the original house check, when the inventory was done). These items were simply left behind at their Joburg depot (and are still there) The plants are now al seemingly dead.

My last communication with Shane was the Monday morning, assuring me "everything should be fine" and he will look in to the extra invoice. That was the last time I heard from him.

Our truck was supposed to arrive Monday between 12:00 and 13:00, but only arrived the Thursday evening.

We paid for same day unpacking which never happened - they sent one guy the day after the truck arrived and then the same guy a few days later.

I have not heard back from Shane himself to this day.

We have missing items and no accountability whatsoever from CDJ for anything mentioned above. More...

Great experience. Ai am a single woman and relocated from JHB to Cape Town alone. CDJ movers were extremely patient with my indecisiveness on what to move and constantly guided, advised and put my mind at peace regarding the move. My belongings were collected in JHB Tuesday evening and delivered to my new home in Cape Town on Thursday lunch time. So very pleasant experience all round. Thanks guys More...

A bit of a delay….. due to bad stormy weather ….however on arrival with the uploading and downloading of movables from point a to point b…. . was swift and professional. We decided to wrap everything ourselves prior to CDJ arrival.... cause the hygienic covers that was meant to be provided was not. But other than that all went well. More...

Brilliant service !! Friendly staff. Fast and efficient. They really made the experience great , taking so much care with our furniture. Not happy at all. Truck did not show up on moving day. No one even bothered to phone me. Let's see if I will ever get my money back.
