What do you love most about your job?
Seeing a blank, unloved outdoor space transformed into something a family will actually live in. There's nothing quite like handing over a completed project — a pool the kids are already jumping into, a deck where someone's having their first summer dinner — and knowing our team built that from the ground up. That moment never gets old.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I saw a real gap in the Auckland market. Most landscaping companies either do design or construction — rarely both, and almost never pools as well. Clients were constantly managing multiple contractors, chasing communication between them, and watching costs blow out. I started VOS to solve that: one team, one point of contact, everything done to a genuinely high standard. I wanted to build a company that treated every project like it mattered, because to the client, it does.
Why should our clients choose you?
We're one of the few companies in Auckland that handles landscape design, pool installation, landscaping construction, and garden maintenance all in-house — no subcontracting the important stuff out. That means one point of contact, no finger-pointing between trades, and a result that's actually cohesive. We work at the premium end of the market because that's where we do our best work, and our clients feel that from the first conversation through to handover.

Our initial consultation and design process can be handled remotely — we use 3D renders and detailed design presentations so clients can review and refine their project before any work begins. Site assessments are conducted in person across Auckland. We service the greater Auckland region including the Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, and central suburbs.
