There are not enough words to express how grateful we are to Wade and the Team at Absolute Rentals for their support while we resided in Palmerston North for 5 years. This review has taken almost a full year for me to write because...life, so my apologies to Wade, Kelly and Olivia! But in the 5 years we were in Palmy, our rental journey was seamless, and the lines of communication were always open. No question or situation was too much to ask, and we appreciated the no judgement feel we got whether it was Wade, Kelly or Olivia looking after our property at any given period - the quality of service was the same and consistent - professional yet friendly, clear yet understanding. Absolute Rentals Property Management, specifically with Olivia as our property manager has been the best tenancy I have experienced. I have rented throughout other agencies and Oliva has made this feel entitlrely stress free, secure and we have been well cared for as tenants. Our experience has been extremely positive - right from securing the house. Everything was absolutely done so smoothly & efficiently and being able to communicate openly throughout the tenancy if any issues were needed to be tended too, which is always great. Olivia is professional & excellent in her role. She is quick to resolve issues, is thorough yet her empathy, care and kindness is felt deeply. Would not use them again to manage my property. They signed off the bond before remediation work was undertaken leaving us with damage and no recourse to fix. Their advice was "put a picture over it". The end of tenancy clean was average at best with broken glass left in cupboards and surfaces left very greasy and clearly not wiped. Very unhappy given the speel we were given when we signed them up about their standards of cleanliness. They fell well short. We paid a professional cleaner on their recommendation before tenanting our property and they gave us back a house that hadn't been cleaned. More...

Absolute Rentals are an absolute nightmare! They welcome you nicely, but after that it’s all downhill. They’ll try to squeeze every dollar out of you — especially your bond — while ignoring repairs, failing to communicate, and never addressing issues.
