I was in serious pain with a knee sprain and I needed medication urgently, the receptionist in Limerick was most helpful, she assured me she would get the doctor to call me back as they were about to close and I did get a call from a really helpful and kind female doctor who enquired into my condition, prescribed medication including pain medication and emailed the prescription to the pharmacy and also gave me advice. My girlfriend was here to see a doctor for the prescription of a pill for the first time. She had certain requirements for the pill to avoid some side effects which was communicated to the doctor(female) initially. The doctor made the right prescription at the beginning of consultation and then discussed her about convenient medicine consumption intervals. After this, the doctor prescribed her exactly the pill with the side effects and didn't communicate with her about it. Only when we got home and googled the effects she came to know the side effects. Absolute disgrace today while attending with my uncle...female doctor had no clue what to do even tho he was visibly quite sick. ... she asked me had he a chest infection? I said your the doctor you tell me 🙈 she examined my uncle then started a chat on what's app to get a diagnosis....what a shambles on our health care system... i refused to pay the fee ... bring back the male doctor who knows what hes doing.... the receptionist explained it was her 1st day on her own she was stressed... not good enough😔😔 More...

I've send a email beforehand with health certificate for job that needs to be filled by doctor (since I don't have a gp) and asked if they provide such service. I've got positive response, but when I got there (and I had to wait for 2 people that had come after me) doctor said that he can't do it and that I need letter from my doctor in my home country.
