Yours Truly brought the most special song to life for my Dad and I to walk down the aisle on my wedding day! We had the cello and the keyboard for music at our ceremony. They put me at ease when I didn’t know the first thing about sound equipment and communicated with my venue for me when I needed them to. They were early, set up, and ready to go handling all complications without me being aware that there was any. Yours Truly Live played at our wedding in August 2019. They arrived early to set-up and were very professional throughout our event. The only issue was the occasional delays in replying to our emails/texts leading up to the wedding. That said, Yours Truly sounded AMAZING and executed everything we asked for.Kevin and Kirk played the cello and keyboard for our ceremony, and even learned an instrumental version of the classic 80s rock song "The Final Countdown" for my husband to walk down the aisle. They also learned the instrumental version of "How Long will I Love you" for me. We rented the ceremony microphone and speakers from them to avoid the ridiculous sound system fees our venue would have charged. The ones from Yours Truly worked great.We booked the 5-piece band for our dance reception. We weren't able to hear Yours Truly play live before we booked them, but their performance at our wedding was just as good as their youtube videos. Ben Doncom has a powerhouse voice and KILLED IT with crowd favourites like Uptown Funk, Valerie and the Pina Colada song. Yours Truly kept the dance floor rowdy and the energy high even though we had a small crowd. We had the 9-piece band from YoursTruly and they made our wedding night phenomenal with their passion, great vocals, interaction with the crowd and instrumentals. A cellist and violinist provided elegant music at the ceremony. Our friends can’t stop talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away to the live band. YourTruly really took it to another level with the singing during the dancing and made it lively, classy and fun for the whole crowd. The band was extremely professional to work with, timely and were able to play all our favourite pick-list songs that made our evening so special. We booked with Kevin, who was easy to get a hold of and very helpful going over the specifics of the contract, ceremony, reception, and dancing to make sure all the details fell into place. We didn’t have to worry about anything on the day-of. Me and my wife hired Yours Truly for our wedding. We had strings at the ceremony and a band at the cocktail hour and reception. The coordination from the musicians was impeccable. From set-up to take-down they were professional and knew how to get everyone dancing. As per our requests, they learned and played all of them in a small timeframe (about 2 weeks) which i was very impressed about. The organization and planning pre-wedding day was amazing, Kevin really wanted the best for our night. We highly recommend Yours Truly to anyone looking for live music that will be professional, fun, and memorable. Yours Truly rocked our 20th anniversary golf tournament! They added a fun element to the appetizer/cocktail portion of the evening.
