The property was amazing. I stayed in the Jedadia building on the second floor. Fanatasic studio kitchenette. Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning. The humidity was very high and while there was a ceiling fan and counter fan, it was very difficult to get comfortable to sleep. I waited far too long and couldn't get a reservation at the spa. This was a huge disappointment, but my fault. Food was amazing, and my compliments to the chef that prepared my bacon wrapped meat loaf. It was a star. Wonderful! Most recently I celebrated my birthday at the Grotto Spa with my sister and niece. We enjoyed a lovely 3-service package plus a relaxing soak in the mineral pool. The staff were attentive and skilled, the facilities comfortable and well maintained, the organic spa products (Eminence) are decadent. We enjoyed a delicious charcuterie tray and glass of wine between services as a special treat. Everything was top-notch. Over the last 4 years I have been to the spa 3 other times, once including a two-night stay in a Kingsize Oceanview room and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The All You Can Eat Tapas experience offered in Tree Tops restaurant at the spa is delicious and somewhat overwhelming with so many yummy things to taste, but well worth trying once. The menu is updated seasonally focusing on local west-coast products. It is a small venue and reservations are a must. This is a tag on to spa treatments and attire is robe and sandals. Although I haven't eaten at Cedars restaurant recently, the time I did it wasn't up to the same standards of the rest of the resort in either atmosphere or food, but perhaps it has been renovated and the food selections updated as this was a number of years ago. Be prepared, the spa is expensive, but compares to other first rate places around the world. Each visit I have brought others with me and everyone has loved it. 5 stars from me! More...

I was given this getaway as a gift from my son and daughter in law for my birthday. Finally found a time to fit in a night away with a special appointment at the spa. I work very hard, physically and needed things like time in a jacuzzi, soaks in the mineral pools etc. My intent was to share it with someone but it didn’t work so I ventured out alone....feeling s bit self conscious. I cannot stress enough how amazing everything was from the minute I parked my car to check in . Lovely people at reception, welcoming me with tips for how best to use my vouchers for two, etc, My suite was spacious, clean and charming. View of the beach was expansive and panoramic. Ladies at the spa were amazing ( tended to my concern of the man with the phone / electronic device pointed at the pool for 45 minutes) . By the time my spa visit was done it was late and I was starved, not one to dine alone at night in a longe , I ventured in anyway. I was greeted warmly and seated by the fireplace and served by a wonderful woman who did not comment on the fact that I was dining alone, and yes, that’s happened quite a bit. She was the perfect cap to the day. 2 hour pedicure next day was luxurious and special. Even checking out was friendly and accommodating. I’ll be back . Thanks so much More...

I was recently married at Tigh-Na-Mara. The experience was amazing!! Rozlan and her team were amazing to work with and took care of every detail, leaving us nothing to worry about. The gazebo was a beautiful setting for the ceremony despite the weather deciding to rain slightly. Rozlan was on top of everything ensuring that we still wished to be married at the gazebo even though the weather was turning and offered to quickly set up at the alternate ceremony space (which is also beautiful). When we opted to still go ahead at the gazebo they quickly handed all of our guests clear umbrellas to keep them comfortable. The dinner was nothing short of delicious and everyone raved about it!! The reception room was also beautiful (decorated by Petal and Kettle). At the end of the night, the staff had left champagne, rose petals, and chocolates in our room which was a lovely surprise!! Our room was stunning with an incredible view of the ocean!! My bridal party and I used the salon to have our hair and makeup done, and that was an amazing experience also!! Hi, can I live here. As I’m sitting in my cabin, I’m already contacting people to plan my next visit. I’ve probably been to at least 20 different spas in my life, and the Grotto Spa in unbelievable! Aside from the exceptional guest experience, and the beautiful facility, they use Eminence products! This speaks to their understanding of high quality products and knowledge of proper skin care. The waterfront property sits on one of the best beaches on the west coast with spectacular views! Our cabin was exactly what it said, but more. When I rent a rustic cabin, I wasn’t expecting spa amenities (soap, lotions, q-tips and nail files, cotton balls, actual good conditioner. Bonus!). While I sit in my lovely terry cloth robe and enjoy the real wood burning fire, there was not one sound. I felt I was alone in the forest. I would have preferred a deep soaker tub with a rain shower but that definitely doesn’t fit under “rustic cabin” Family friendly, but also private and beautiful! Can’t wait to come back! More...
