This is the place to join if you want to ensure you get results. They monitor your weight weekly and keep attendance to make sure they know if you're coming in to train or not. They don't want you wasting your membership and I appreciate the work they do to stay on top of me. This is the reason I've done so well here. I have been with Total Body Fitness for over 2 years and with many other gyms before that. I never enjoyed exercising before and since joining here have stayed motivated and excited for each and every workout. No judgement here. I love this place !! I joined back in September 2018 and I have noticed a big change in my fitness and body. Ian , Penny, Cinthya and the rest of the staff are so knowledgeable , friendly and always there by your side helping you and encouraging you to do your best.
Class sizes are optimal to be properly coached so you get the most out of your workout.
I have never been so pleased and happy to join a team and gym like Total Body Fitness.

For years, I hesitated to join a gym and with a busy lifestyle, years just went by and my body started to negatively change. Then, I came across Total Fitness and from the beginning I felt something different about this gym. Since joining, my life has changed, I have lost weight, gain lots of energy and feel fantastic every day. Classes are designed for all levels of fitness, they focus on activating different parts of your body and getting fit by always challenging yourself and not following the same routine in the exercise program. Coming to this gym is always fun and one leaves with a sense of accomplishment.
The cherries on the cake are Ian and Cynthia. They are a pair of fantastic, fun, and professional trainers who consistently bring something new to the table, keep the energy up and make you feel great about yourself and not a number as they do in other gyms.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about changing their life and is hesitant to join a gym.

I have never been more inspired, encouraged and motivated to reach my fitness goals. The King's really have something great going on here. I don't even know where to begin because I could literally brag on every single thing associated with this business. The staff are absolutely incredible! You're not just a number, you're a valued client. Ian and Penny (along with the other trainers) care so much for each clients individual needs and goals and want everybody to succeed and do their very best. It's always such a positive, upbeat atmosphere with awesome tunes that get you moving as well as top notch equipment that keeps the work outs fun, spicy, versatile and challenging! I absolutely LOVE the group circuit training. I promise you'll be surprised and so proud of how hard you can actually push in this style of work out! Breaking things down into intervals makes things much less intimidating and totally achievable, at your own pace! I LOVE IT! If you want to fall in love with caring for yourself through exercise, while being surrounded by a team of amazing clientele and being trained and encouraged by some of the most genuine and kind people, TOTAL BODY FITNESS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

TOTAL BODY FITNESS is the best fitness studio and has a great atmosphere to work out. They make sure that the studio is clean and very hygienic before and after workout.

All trainers are trained and focused in directing you to meet your goals. Regaining strength and health is serious business. Not only has this place helped me physically, but it's my go to for stress relief. Every day is a new workout and it is very challenging.

Ian is a super star when it comes to training and motivating his clients. Being fit is more than just exercise it's taking care of your health. All the coaches are amazing and friendly. The best body fitness place for kids and adults. My son plays rep soccer with the Bramtpon Youth Soccer. After joining this fitness program, I’ve seen significant improvement in his physical strength and stamina. Ian is an amazing instructor. He is very professional, humble, punctual and disciplined. My kid can’t wait for Wednesday so he can attend the session. Parents are allowed to watch the training which gives you transparency on how the training is done. A difinite 5 Star and beyond!! I was a very sporty individual growing up. Due to an injury, I lost myself and my want to be active like before. I can't describe how encouraging and inviting Ian and Penny were and they helped me make the first step getting back to me. Working out again and in such a great environment allowed me to start enjoying physical activity and healthy living again. Ian and Cynthia are just so knowledgable, supportive, kind and tough all in one and made all the adjustments I needed to succeed even with my injury. I have been a member at various gyms over the years. After receiving your initiation fee and arranging monthly membership payments, I was left on my own. I received no direction on how to use equipment; no corrections if I was doing something wrong or that could injure me; no follow-up if I missed a few days. To call Total Body Fitness a "gym" does it a huge disservice. I refer to Total Body as "group personal training". Class sizes are small enough so everyone receives attention. Classes are also varied to keep things interesting and challenging. Ian cares, pays attention, and pushes you to push yourself. When I have missed a few days in a row, they reach out to me to find out why and see if everything is ok. Ian even called me from his vacation in GREECE when I had an issue.And it's not just the staff, it is the members. It is a very supportive, fun, group full of friendly competition. My experience has been amazing. My husband and I had a consultation with Ian a few months ago in order to benefit from person training since he had lost more than half of his body weight his muscles needed toning and strengthening. My husband had no interest initially, but after a brief discussion with Ian he was convinced that the training was something he needed to do. I remember clearly after my husband had his first session, hearing so many of the oldies music he danced to as a young lad, he became more energized for his sessions and would look forward to each session with great anticipation. Every session with Ian became more interesting as he would many times think and plan my husband's next sessions in the wee hours of the morning. I was really impressed with the patients and courageous private pep talks my husband received. He constantly modified my husband's program in order for him to participate. Ian's positive outlook, his zeal and highly motivated passion for healthy lifestyle has impressed me to the point that my daughter and I are having wonderful and stimulating training twice per week from Total Body Fitness. Having met the wife of our personal trainer has made my daughter and i feel very special because of the support we are receiving. we are constantly being introduced to others clients which has made us feel as part of one big family. Our son's played rep soccer together. I watched how Ian interacted with his son; as well as, how his son exhibited a certain 'confidence' when he played. My son started training with Ian and it has been an added boost to his 'confidence'. The kids look forward to training ... I first learnt about Ian's Total Body Fitness from my son's girlfriend, Sarah. Shortly after she started working out with Ian I noticed a big difference in her body tone. Sarah's arms were seriously defined in a short time working with him.After serious complications from heart surgery I took Sarah's advice and called and talked with Penny. Penny was extremely professional and very knowledgeable after I explained what I had gone through. I was on many waiting lists to educate myself and assist me on becoming stronger physically to return to work. After waiting months I took it upon myself to initiate my own get stronger program. Ian was a big part of this. He met with me and outlined his program and from there he initiated to start right away. From a person that ran three miles a day and exercised regularly to my maximum this illness was a big set back. I had gained lots of weight and my confidence was really low. Ian gave me confidence and set me up to succeed. He encouraged me to exceed my limitations without risking my health. I started to look forward to fitness again and Ian really pushed me forward. After a short time I started noticing a difference in my clothes that were normally tighter. I also noticed that I looked forward to working out again. I went to Total Body Fitness after my 3rd child. I was 50 pounds over weight and really just needed the help to get that after baby weight off. I called and I spoke to Penny and she was wonderful on the phone, so kind and really eager to help me. Ian and Penny helped me with a workout schedule and diet regime that made me loose 60 pounds in 6months. They really take the time to make this life change work for you. Total Body Fitness is THE BEST place to exercise if you like a clean facility, private setting, tonnes of motivation and the most effective workout for weight loss and muscle toning. Ian makes sure I am performing every exercise properly so that I don't get injured and has even helped me strengthen areas that have helped me recover from my previous soccer injury. At first, I was reluctant to join because I was afraid of aggravating my previous injury but Ian is so knowledgeable that he is able to modify any exercise so that I can continue to exercise without being in pain. I have seen many people's lives transformed after coming to see Ian. Ian's unique training method together with the nutritional guidance I received, have helped me lose weight faster than I was expecting. I am an instructor for the Half Marathon and brought my clinic to TBFW for a presentation on Cross Training thru an invitation from Penny. We were greeted and then sat comfortably for a seminar on the benefits, which there was plenty of, about personal attention to our individual weaknesses and benefits that could be obtained under Ian's supervision. Earlier, Penny had suggested we bring our gym clothes and after our talk, Ian put us through a circuit, concentrating on warm up, upper body and core as we are runners, lower body wasn't high on our needs. We did two sets of two different circuits consisting of 6 exercises each, and it went quickly at 1 minute intervals, the entire time Ian made sure all of us did the movement correctly, and with appropriate amount of weight. It was tons of fun, the atmosphere was light with great music, lots of laughing and absolutely no intimidation. Some of the group are elite athletes, others had no experience in a gym at all. We all felt comfortable and focused solely on our own task at hand. In the end, even though some of us are capable of running Half marathons in back to back weekends, we still have work to do in getting in shape, which was pointed out to us in the initial presentation. Ultimately we will become stronger, faster and better athletes thru the concentrated efforts of Ian and Penny. More...

The road to Ian at Total Body Fitness started one Saturday morning when I was fed up with myself because I just couldn't start exercising and eating right. At the market heading to the cafe for a latte...I walked into Penny sitting smiling and inviting at the Total Body Fitness kiosk set up at the market.Well for me that was a message (lol).I signed up with group classes because I wasn't sure how I would fit in. The groups classes are awesome regardless of what your level of work out is.Private classes, are even better I take both group classes and private. With Ian's experience, energy he keeps you motivated. The results are fantastic. Weight and inches have been dropped at a HEALTHY pace. Strength and stamina is astounding. It feels so good to put on cloths that had stopped fitting.Ian does not give up on you.
