Absolutely love The Train Station Pub. The food is delicious and they have a great selection of craft beer, one of my favourites being the Back Hand of God stout form Crannog Ales. I was here yesterday for breakfast as I love the pakora benny, I only wish there was more hashbrowns on each plate because the breakfast potatoes are delicious, same as the fries, however, never enough. The train station pub is a place where it just gets better and better everytime, the food is wonderful as I went there this morning with my mom for some brunch she had the eggs benny and I had the schnitzel Benny and they where truly out of this world.

Decent place with good food and drink. My wife and I are visiting and the hotel we are staying at recommended this place. It is not in the busiest area, and not right by the water, but only a short walk away . The atmosphere was nice and it was not to crazy inside or out for 9p when we got there. We sat on the patio. They have a late night happy hour from 9-close, which was nice, but we ordered off the regular menu. We got the chicken club sandwich with fries and the lamb burger. The food was excellent. Highly recommend both and the fries were really good. Sitting on the patio, especially in he back corner, we were a little worried about service. For the most part we were happy with the service, especially in light of our waitress having a few big parties as well. However, trying to get the bill did become a problem. Price-wise it seemed reasonable given the resort area. Would probably come back and worth a stop. More...
